The company was founded in 1999 and launched its inaugural flight the following year. JetBlue founder, David Neeleman, is a former executive at Southwest Airlines.

Long Beach, California, is central to their West Coast operations. Overall, JetBlue services over 20 states, many of the Caribbean island destinations, Mexico, Costa Rica, and Colombia.

The Brazilian aircraft seats up to 100 JetBlue travelers.

Complimentary snacks and drinks are offered on every flight. Alcoholic beverages and premium snacks can be purchased.
