Managing and maintaining patients’ medical records and information
Health care is a growing industry that offers many opportunities to well-trained individuals. According the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, millions of health care jobs are expected to open up over the next decade. Not all of these jobs will be for doctors and nurses; many support personnel will be needed too, including trained Medical Administrative Assistants.
Medical Administrative Assistants perform a wide range of administrative tasks, working in physicians’ offices, clinics, outpatient facilities, hospitals, and other health care settings to ensure the office functions smoothly.
