1. Firm and tighten lax skin
2. Skin Rejuvenation,skin tighting
3. Unwanted hair removal
4. Superficial benign pigmentation removal
5. Superficial benign vascular lesion removal
6. Acne reduction

1. What is magneto-rejuvenation?

Restore Data from Failed Raid 1

RAID 1 also known as Disk mirroring, is the replication of data to two or more disks. It is good option for applications that require high performance such as transactional applications, email and operating systems. While using RAID 1, an exact copy of data is created on two or more discs. This technique will give more reliability and read performance. The only issue is storage capacity (the total storage used by RAID 1 will be equal to capacity of the smallest disk).

However, RAID users may struggle a lot if data gets inaccessible due to Raid 1 drive failure. Let us know in which situations Raid 1 drive get failed on a Windows computer:

  • Occurrence of more number of bad sectors on hard disk may result in raid 1 drive failure
  • If you do any mistake while changing file system, then RAID 1 drive may fail to work further
  • OS crash is the other common reason for failure of RAID 1 drive
  • Failure of RAID technology can also make drive unreadable and useless

Once the RAID 1 drive gets failed it will show different kind of error messages like:

  • Storecenter disk failure
  • Critical error on RAID 1 drive
  • Failed hard drive: RAID1

In case, you come across above mentioned errors, then how will you solve them? How will you get back data from failed RAID 1 drive? Dont worry you can easily recover failed raid 5 array. raid 10 and raid 0 by using proficient data recovery program.

How I Flew Around the World in Business Class for $1,340

What’s This?

By Alissa Haupt 2013-10-15 19:28:44 UTC

I recently booked a round-trip set of flights from Minneapolis to Shanghai in business class.

I needed to head back to China to resume teaching English after the end of the photo season in Minneapolis, where I was shooting portraits and wedding photos. I had one week free with which to travel between the two cities, so I planned the craziest round-the-world hop.

I booked the set of flights using US Airways miles. My route, from Minneapolis – Chicago – Frankfurt – Istanbul – Bangkok – Seoul – Shanghai – Zurich – Munich – Chicago – Minneapolis, included my way home for Christmas during my three-week break.

Here is what my flight path to Shanghai looked like:

The cost of the trip was 90,000 US Airways miles.

In June, I opened my US Airways Master Card, which gave me 30,000 miles after my first purchase. In August, US Airways had a sale of frequent flier miles: buy up to 50,000 miles and get the same amount for free. As it costs 90,000 miles to travel between North America and North Asia in business class, I purchased 30,000 US Airways miles for $1,200 and got the final 30,000 miles for “free.”

US Airways is a part of Star Alliance, so with those miles I was able to book travel on any of the company’s airline partners. (In fact, despite booking with US Airways, none of my flights were on that carrier.) US Airways is unique as its awards are booked without a computer to tell the booking agent whether or not the reward flight travels over too many miles or segments.

For example, US Airways reward tickets are supposed to have eight flight segments or less. I was able to book my 10-segment reward after talking to a few different booking agents. US Airways also is unique because it allows you to have an unlimited number of layovers that are 24 hours or less, and one stopover — of any time length — in a city in the same region of your destination. My region was North Asia, so I used my free stopover in Seoul.

To get my 24-hour stopovers, I simply had to search the reward availabilities on Star Alliance partners. I used United.com to search for reward availability, segment by segment, starting with the hardest first. I made a spreadsheet and a Google map to note available flights and piece them together like a jigsaw puzzle.

Eventually, I ended up with this itinerary:

Minneapolis to Chicago on United (15-hour layover in Chicago)

Chicago to Frankfurt on Lufthansa (24-hour layover in Frankfurt)

Frankfurt to Istanbul on Lufthansa (8-hour layover in Istanbul)

Shanghai to Zurich on Swiss (24-hour layover in Zurich)

Zurich to Munich on Swiss (24-hour layover in Munich)

Munich to Chicago on Lufthansa (12-hour layover in Chicago)

Chicago to Minneapolis on United (Home for two weeks over Christmas)

My final itinerary looked like this:

In my spreadsheet, I made a note of every flight number, airline and departure time. I called US Airways to book the award and fed the agent each flight segment. I was able to put the flights on hold for three days.

Once I was certain I wanted to travel on these dates, I called back to book the reward. I had to hang up and call again several times before I found a booking agent who was able to book the tickets for me. The final ticket cost 90,000 miles plus $140 in taxes.

The total cost of the flights was $1,340, including $1,200 to purchase 30,000 miles and $140 in taxes on the award booking. That is a decent price in economy between Minneapolis and Shanghai, and a great price to fly around the world in business class. According to my quick search on Kayak, it would have cost somewhere between $5,000 in cash to fly between Minneapolis and Shanghai business class on my dates, and $19,000 to book the trip around the world.

The actual flights were incredible. I felt a bit strange, as I didn’t really need the experience of flying business class. But it was really fantastic to have flat beds up in the sky and eat gourmet multi-course meals on each flight. I really appreciate that I was able to fly in such mega-luxury.

More so, it was really wonderful to have the ability to hop around the world for one week. I ate wild-roast sausage in the rain in Frankfurt, attempted to only speak German for 24-hours straight (with mixed success) and fired a BB gun at a balloon over the Sea of Marmara in Istanbul (my first time firing any gun, ever). I partied the whole night long with hostel-mates in Bangkok, then had a Thai massage (hangover cure?). I ate Bi Bim Bap in Seoul, and toured tunnels dug by North Koreans under the Demilitarized Zone.

Needless to say, I am really looking forward to the second half of this award when I’ll experience Switzerland for the first time and see the Christmas markets in Munich.

Most of my knowledge I gleaned on how to book this reward ticket came from the travel blog Milevalue. It’s a travel blog run by a 26-year-old guy who writes easy-to-read blog posts on how to find and book overly complicated reward flights.

Travel for me is about freedom — the freedom to be and explore new places, to meet new people and share ideas. Traveling doesn’t need to be as expensive or unattainable as it appears. You just have put in a little leg work.

Positive Psychology: The Benefits of Living Positively #connotations, conscious #mind, counselors, hippie, illnesses, inner #happiness, martin #seligman, material

Positive Psychology: The Benefits of Living Positively

Positive psychology often is passed off as pop psychology or New Age-y by those who haven’t actually looked into it.

The actual theory behind positive psychology was defined in 1998 by Martin Seligman and Mihaly Csikszentmihalyi [1] and looks at all aspects of a person’s psychology. It does not discount traditional psychology, nor supersede it. Rather than viewing psychology purely as a treatment for the malign, however, it looks at the positive. Positive psychology is a recognized form of therapy and is offered by some counselors and psychologists.

Psychology has always been interested in where people’s lives have gone wrong, and what has resulted because of it [2]. Illnesses such as depression are well-documented and patterns of depressive behavior well-known. However, until recently, what makes people happy and how they achieve inner happiness and well-being has been a mystery.

Practitioners of positive psychology study people whose lives are positive and try to learn from them, in order to help others achieve this state of happiness [3]. It is a scientific study and not remotely hippie-ish, despite its connotations.

Positive thinking is one aspect of positive psychology. Surrounding yourself with a great lifestyle and material goods may seem to lead to happiness, but how you really feel is governed by what goes on inside your head. When you go out of your way to think positively, you actually purge yourself of negative self-talk. [1]

Negative self-talk is one of the biggest barriers to positive thinking. People become so accustomed to negative thinking that their conscious mind will pull them down, even when they have done nothing wrong. These people become insecure, overly apologetic and indecisive. Worse still, they open the door to numerous stress-related problems.

Negative thinkers have four common mindsets:

Many negative thinkers will pull the negatives out of a situation and focus on them. Sometimes these people will see only the negative in a situation, to the point where they deny any positive.

  • Personalizing.
Some people make every tragedy about themselves. They will personalize every negative thing and assume that bad things happen because they are unlucky, or as a result of something they did or didn’t do. They will often construct negative situations with perfect logic, providing plausible reasons why negative things are either their fault or set out to hurt them.
  • Catastrophizing.
This involves anticipating the worst. Some people even precipitate it. They can turn a slightly awkward interaction into an overreaction, making the situation worse. If something negative does happen, they will use it to validate their negative assumptions.
  • Polarizing.

This type of negative thinker sees things as black or white. Either a situation is perfect or it is a catastrophe. This type of negative thinking can affect every area of a person’s life. Its effects can be both psychological and physical. By practicing positive thinking, you can actually stave off medical conditions and reap the benefits of having a positive outlook on life.

  • Depression is complicated illness with physical and mental health elements. It would be flippant to suggest that someone with a positive outlook will not encounter depressive feelings.

However, positive psychology can be beneficial in treating depression. It can equip sufferers with the tools to stop downward spirals when they begin and help them to see the positive aspects to their lives. It can also help to stop the negative thinking habits that are common in depression. [4]

Scientific studies also show that there is a direct link between stress and the immune system. When a person is experiencing a period of stress and negativity, his or her body is less able to mount an inflammatory response to attacks from bacteria and viruses. This results in an increase in infections such as the common cold and cold sores. [5] Having a positive outlook on life also equips people better for dealing with serious illness. Tackling diseases such as cancer with optimism and self-belief has shown to have a beneficial effect on recovery and ability to tolerate treatment.

Among the other health benefits listed above, positive thinkers have a lower incidence of cardiovascular disease. They tend to have lower blood pressure than those who do not engage in positive thinking. The health benefits extend to the emotional side, too. optimists will have better physical and psychological well-being, and better skills for coping with stress and hardship.

It is important to remember that simply having a positive mindset won’t actually stop bad things from happening. But it does give you the tools to better deal with bad situations. Sometimes your coping skills come down to nothing more than refusing to give in to your negative side and your fears. For some people, positive thinking comes quite naturally. For others, seeking professional help is necessary to get them on the right track.

    MSc International
    Finance

    Key Features

The HEC Paris MSc in International Finance (MIF) program caters for highly-motivated top achieving graduates looking to succeed in a career in finance and consulting. The program has a strong analytical focus yet is accessible from either business and finance (business track) or economics, math, physics, engineering (accelerated track) backgrounds.

    Flexible Curriculum

A ‘tailored-designed’ approach towards education is at the core when designing programs at HEC Paris. This is shown in at least two aspects of the HEC Paris MSc International Finance curriculum.

    • The courses taken during the first semester depend on your experience before joining HEC Paris. If you have already covered basic financial accounting, investment theory and corporate finance, you will start finance classes at advanced level (business track). Balance between theory and practice

The number of hours spent in the classroom by HEC MIF graduates significantly exceeds international standards. Around half of that time will be spent in front of world class researchers. imparting you state-of-the-art knowledge. The other half will be spent in front of top-level practitioners. The latter is one of the many ways in which the learning experience at HEC Paris differs to most and adds another dimension to teaching. We feel it is important to complement theoretical teaching by using top researchers and practitioners lectures to give our graduates that extra edge over graduates from other institutions. The more competitive the environment, the more important having that extra edge is.

    Strong and cohesive peer group

Who your peers are matters: with regards to the quality of your learning experience, the perception of potential employers and for the value of your network after you graduate. This is why academic performance is at the top of our admissions criteria. However at HEC we look for more than just academic excellence: smart, ambitious individuals will underperform without adequate interaction. We put a strong emphasis on group interaction and encourage it in any way we can. For instance:

    • Honours are granted on the basis of absolute GPA and not class percentile to make sure that no HEC MIF student can benefit from the underperformance of one of his or her classmates
    • A study trip is organized in the 3rd week of the program with all HEC finance students participating and interacting in both professional and non-professional activities

    Life Long Ties

At HEC Paris, we pride ourselves on the fact that ties built on campus between both professors and students continue after students graduate and become alumni. Our alumni get directly involved in guiding the new generation of HEC MIF students and to make sure they achieve the same success as past students. A few examples:

    • Career and job training workshops the first week of the program
    • More than 250 students take part in the formal networking event on the London study trip… and many more at the less formal Friday night HEC Finance pub crawl: a unique opportunity to gain privileged access to young professionals from bulge bracket banks!
    • Finance event organized the 4th week of September

    International Diversity

With 29 different nationalities making up the class of 2016. the International Finance program is equally as enriching on a cultural level. Working alongside a diverse group of nationalities can be highly educational and rewarding and is a true highlight of the program for many. London is the main hub for HEC MIF graduates in terms of placements although we also have alumni working in Continental Europe, Asia, Americas, and the Middle East.

How To Buy And Sell Domains For 10,000%+ Profit -PT 1

    by: Jonathan Street

This truly is the business to get into in 2005. It’s a red hot opportunity that can make you anything from $150 to $3000+ a week part time. And this article will walk you step-by-step through the money-making process.

There are a few ways you can make money buying domain names and selling them on for profit. And I mean PROFIT. You’ll see why people will be scratching at your door to buy off you in just a moment.

But first let’s start with the basics.

All domain names are only registered for a limited amount of time.Registrars can choose to use the name for a period of between 1-10 years. After this the rights to these domain names expire and the user has to renew the name again. If they don’t do this it will be placed on hold for a short time and then deleted. This means it is then availible for anyone who wants to buy it!

This Is Where You Can Cash In!

20,000 expired domain names are made availible each and every day. Some of them are very attractive and well-established names.

The owners of many of these domain names will have accidently let them expire. But their carelessness is our gain.

You see you can “grab” these domain names (a term used for purchasing an expired domain name) for around $10 and then sell them back to the old owner for hundreds of dollars!

The owner will be willing to pay huge sums to you because they had built up qualified traffic over X amount of years and didn’t want to lose all the previous custom.

It’s not just businesses that have carelessly let their domain name expire that will buy off of you. It’s other businesses too that will buy the name to get the old owners’ traffic. It’s a legitamate way of increasing your customer base.

But is this a legitamate business? YOU BET! There’s nothing shady or untoward about this business in the slightest. That’s why entrepreneurs in the know are making money hand over fist.

So let’s move on. There are two main reasons why people will be willing to pay YOU a couple of hundred dollars for a domain name.

    a) They carelessly let the domain name expire. That means that they will pay you to get the name back to ensure that they don’t lose their existing traffic that they may have built up over years and years.

    B) They are a business in the same field as the one that has let the name expire and therfore will pay you to secure the exisitng custom of a rival.

Here’s step-by-step how you go about this fantastically profitable part time business.

There are several sources of expired domain name information and reserach tools, some free and some that require a payment of a fee.

www.wehavethem.com supplies lists of names due to be deleted. www.DeletedDomains.com allows you to do some searching free and more extensive searching for a $99 annual fee.You can search for names that are due to be deleted and also allows you to bid on newly deleted names that have already been grabbed by other ‘investors’.

If you see a site that had tens of thousands of visitors in the last month GET IT. The likeliness is that the previous owners will be itching to get their name back off of you due to its obvious success.

Also if you see a name with a large qualified traffic thats due to expire and has a high traffic volume use an automated grabbing system such as www.snapnames.com and www.pool.com. These will ensure the second they become availible you will have registered them. The cost is about $60 but only if they get the names for you. Definately worth it in my eyes.

Remember you could easily sell the name for hundreds, maybe thousands.

In part 2 we’ll take a look at how you go about selling the names once you have acquired them. But in the mean time here’s a few domain names which were up for sale at the time of writing this article. Now obviously not all names sell for this much, but it’s a very real possibility that you could stumble across a gem in your business.

The profits in this business are like no other. Now it’s your turn to get your hands on your share in the billion dollar industry of buying and selling domain names.

    Until next time.

Access (almost) all areas: the British passport is No.1 for visa-free travel

Holders are able to visit 173 of the world’s nations while Afghans can visit only 28 countries free of formalities

Brits can enjoy visa-free travel to 173 countries Getty Images

The British enjoy the widest range of visa-free travel on the planet. Along with citizens of Finland and Sweden, holders of UK passports are able to visit 173 of the world’s nations without applying for a visa.

The annual 2013 Henley Partners Visa Restrictions Index ranks countries according to the number of nations their citizens can access with just a passport. The results show that membership of the European Union is a key determinant of ease of movement across frontiers.

Nine out of 10 of the top countries are EU members: Denmark, Germany, Luxembourg, Belgium, Italy and the Netherlands join the leading three, with only the United States representing the rest of the world. Citizens of all these countries can travel to more than 170 other nations visa-free.

The least advantageous passports to possess remain the same as they have in previous years. Pakistan and Somalia tie for third-worst place, with just 32 nations allowing passport-only access. Citizens of Iraq can visit only 31, while the least popular nationality in terms of red tape is Afghanistan. Holders of passports issued in Kabul are able to visit only 28 countries free of formalities, with 87 per cent of the world’s nations putting up the shutters.

The compilers assert that there are 219 countries in the world. No nationality is able to access as many as 80 per cent of the destination countries, but there is a strong correlation between average wealth and access to open frontiers. The second group of 10 countries includes Canada, Japan, Norway, New Zealand and Switzerland.

The imbalance between ease of access for citizens of rich nations and the lack of openness displayed by those countries was revealed in a World Tourism Organization report, which reported that three-quarters of the world’s population requires a visa ahead of travelling to Europe.

In the Henley Partners survey there is a wide gap between the “old” EU and the “new”. Of the former Iron Curtain countries, Hungary performs best. Bulgaria and Romania are a long way down the list, sandwiched between Brazil and Barbados. Russians are allowed visa-free access to 95 countries, one more than citizens of Turkey and South Africa – the highest-placed African nation. South Africans are significantly better placed than the four lowest-placed European countries: Bosnia-Herzegovina (91), Albania (88), Belarus (61) and Moldova (59). The latter lies below Cuba, Kazakhstan and Zimbabwe.

Citizens of the two most populous nations are placed low in the listing. India, with 1.2 billion people, issues a passport that opens doors to only 52 countries – one fewer than Burkina Faso and Indonesia, the fourth-most populous. China, with 1.3 billion, rates only 44, behind Vietnam, Cambodia and East Timor. This week the Home Secretary, Theresa May, indicated that she will relax Britain’s tight visa rules in a bid to encourage more tourism from the People’s Republic. Citizens of Hong Kong and Macau, both autonomous regions of China, can travel to many more countries – 152 in the case of Hong Kong.

At the other end of the size and population spectrum, being small is no guarantee of accessibility. San Marino, Andorra and Monaco fail to break the 150 barrier, though Liechtenstein makes 159.

Neil Taylor, a guide and tour operator with wide experience of present and former communist countries, said there was evidence of individual locations over-riding national rules in order to attract tourists: “Russian visas remain complex, but if you take a cruise to St Petersburg you can dodge the red tape. The same applies to the 72-hour stopover scheme just introduced by several major gateways to China.”

Kyoto Chosen as No. 1 Destination by U. S. Travel Magazine

    #no 1 travel
    #

    Travel + Leisure

Japan s ancient capital Kyoto proved popular in another poll of the world s cities, topping a list of the world s best destinations in a survey of readers in Travel + Leisure magazine.

Kyoto jumped four places from last year, unseating Bangkok from the top spot in the magazine s 2014 World’s Best Awards list. The result followed the Kyoto s recent top 10 ranking in a list of the most livable cities .

Travel + Leisure noted that the attraction of Japan s ancient capital went beyond its cherry blossoms, temples and gardens.

One can also find “reimagined ryokan (Japanese-style hotels) and an emerging style scene that is cutting edge,” said a magazine correspondent in a video clip posted on the magazine s website.

The survey gave scores to each city based on votes received from readers. Poll participants were asked to judge destinations on a variety of factors including culture, arts, food and value for money.

Respondents were screened to remove travel-industry professionals from the vote, according to the magazine s website.

Tokyo didn’t make the top 10, but was ranked fourth among Asian cities behind Kyoto, Siem Reap in Cambodia and Bangkok.

“I am deeply moved and happy” that Kyoto was picked as the best destination in the world, Kyoto Mayor Daisaku Kadokawa said in a statement. The mayor said the outcome was a result of coordination between the public and the corporate sector to improve the city’s appeal for tourists.

“We hope to continue offering visitors the experience of Kyoto’s unique culture, arts, sights and hospitality,” Mr. Kadokawa said.

The ancient capital ranked No. 9 in a list of the World’s Most Livable Cities compiled by London-based magazine Monocle last month.

Tel Aviv, Israel: What to see and do

Dubbed The City that Never Sleeps, Tel Aviv is the second most populous city after Jerusalem and beckons over a million International tourists to its prosperous land every year to indulge in its rich cultural heritage and urban lifestyle. Its history dates back to 1909 when it was founded by a Jewish community on the outskirts of Jaffa and quickly became a place of refuge for many Jewish immigrants since, both locales of which were formed into what is now known as the State of Israel.

Tel Aviv is home to The White City, an assemblage of over 4,000 Bauhaus buildings which are a product of German-Jewish architects in the 1930s and is claimed by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site. The efforts of its frugal and economically-savvy people and state have awarded it notoriety for possessing the second largest economy in the Middle East after Abu Dhabi.

The metropolis sprawling city landscape lights up and shines its brightest at night as a party capital with a diverse nightlife entertainment scene and active 24-hour culture boasting scads of bars and dance clubs. Its cultural entertainment sphere is well-known as it is the location of 18 out of Israels 35 performing arts centres including the Cameri Theater and the Israeli Opera, where renowned Spanish tenor, arts administrator, and conductor Placido Domingo served as house tenor in the 1960s.

Boulder, Colorado, Based Intrepid Travel Ranked #1 Best Places to Work

Adventure Travel Company Encourages Employee Eco-Consciousness and Exploration

Boulder, CO – Intrepid Travel (www.intrepidtravel.com) recently (ATN Editor s Note: on April 9 2009, Intrepid Travel issued this news announcement, but it was not posted immediately we regret the posting delay ) topped the list in Outside magazine’s (www.outsideonline.com) second annual “Best Places to Work” list.  Intrepid was ranked No. 1 out of 30 selected companies. The full list and related story is published in the May 2009 issue of Outside magazine.

Intrepid s Boulder office opened in November 2007 and modeled its employee practices after Intrepid s head office in Melbourne, Australia.  According to Tiffany Richards, President of Intrepid Travel’s Boulder office, Our company philosophy is very much about promoting responsible travel, getting off the beaten path, helping to support positive change, and having fun along the way.  It s more than what we sell, it s our lifestyle too.  So we ve implemented programs and policies for our employees that help them maintain a work/life balance that keeps them smiling when they come into the office each day.

Outside’s “Best Places to Work” list was compiled with the help of the Outdoor Industry Association (outdoorindustry.org) and Best Companies Group (bestcompaniesgroup.com). The year-long selection process began with an outreach effort that identified a wide range of non-profit and for-profit organizations in the United States. Participating companies were then sent confidential employee-satisfaction surveys and employer-questionnaires to collect information about benefits, compensation, policies, job satisfaction, environmental initiatives, and community outreach programs. All of the results were analyzed by Best Companies Group experts, who selected the 30 companies that best enable employees to balance productivity with an active, eco-conscious lifestyle.

“These 30 companies share a common belief: that the secret to success in any economy is empowering employees to live balanced lives and remain committed to their communities and the environment,” said Michael Roberts, Executive Editor of Outside. “Our winners know that happy workers are good for the bottom line. So even in the current financial storm, they’re offering on-site fitness classes and massage, reimbursements for gym memberships and ski passes, flexible hours, amazing travel benefits, and opportunities for on-the-clock community service.”

Intrepid’s company perks include free travel for all employees, free public transportation passes for the Denver/Boulder area to encourage the environmentally-friendly use of public transport, paid days off for volunteering, and a generous 4-week paid time off policy.  Intrepid also encourages socializing with a monthly pot-luck lunch, on-the-company Friday happy hour and a bring-your-pet-to-work policy.

“Its hard to be grumpy at work when Fido is sitting at the desk next to you,” says Richards.
