Job Description

Co-lead with the Regional Planning Director the facilitation and management of the Strategic Plan process in the region as well as lead the establishment and further improvement of the planning reporting framework in the Region.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

Strategic Planning Process

  • Assistance to the Regional Planning Director in the facilitation and management of the Regional Strategic Plan development process;
  • Coordinate and facilitate the continuous improvement, alignment and integration of the Strategic Planning process into the business to deliver on Newmont’s vision and mission;
  • Development of the Strategic Planning timeline as well as the Planning process to ensure alignment with Regional and Corporate Calendars;
  • Collaborating with the Regional Leadership and Site Management teams to agree on and select key stakeholders to facilitate relevant inputs and build consensus around critical growth projects in the Strategic Plan building blocks;
  • Coordinating and facilitating all Regional Strategic Planning events, including Workshops, Review meetings and recommended/approved options for Corporate;
  • Assist  the  Regional  Planning  Director  in  managing  the  internal  reporting process that summarizes strategic planning efforts and provides the regional Strategic and Business Plan recommendations to Corporate;
  • Coordinate  the  development  of  regional  SWOT  analysis  and  subsequent integration of risk information into the regional and corporate business planning process; by leveraging on effective relationships within the regional and corporate leadership and planning personnel;
  • Conduct  a  post-planning  review  through  the  Lessons  Learned  Report  and different Plan versions Variance Analysis to determine continuous improvements to the planning process and suggest further improvements to the Regional Planning Director.
  • Provide management with the appropriate information for various “what if”
  • scenarios.

Strategic Planning Tools

  • In coordination with the Regional Planning Director, manage the development and deployment of Regional Strategic Planning Tools to improve on planning analysis and reports;
  • Continuous   improvement   and   development   of   the   regional   Portfolio Management Tool (PMT) and similar and further integration into the planning process;
  • Subject Matter  Expert for  the  Strategic Planning analytical tools.  Requires knowledge of financial accounting, tax and project valuation modeling;
  • Effectively communicate analytical results and  methods to  personnel at  all levels of the organization both verbally and in written formats.

Regional Portfolio Analysis

  • Support major growth projects in the region throughout the study process by introducing portfolio view and “layering” of projects;
  • Through the Regional Planning Director, collaborate with Site, Regional
  • Leadership and Projects teams as well as Corporate Planning to ensure region specifics and views are considered and accounted for in the Global Portfolio of operating scenarios;
  • Facilitating and ensuring alignment of major growth projects’ objectives to the regional and corporate strategic goals to ensure their progress through the Stage Gate Process;
  • Facilitate continuous improvement of portfolio decision making analysis and assist in information sharing of best practices;
  • Own the compilation process of the deliverables/presentations that communicate the results of the internal assets of the region as well as assessing the external opportunities regarding future projects and making relevant recommendations.

Regional Reporting Framework

  • Manage the development, maintenance and continuous improvement of  the Regional Planning Reporting Framework to relevantly address the information requirements of the Regional, Site as well as Corporate Leadership Teams;
  • Collaborate  with  relevant  stakeholders to  continuously identify,  define  and establish relevant KPIs and Metrics for performance related reporting to Regional and Site Leadership;
  • Own the process of development and deployment of Standard regional reporting templates on agreed KPIs and Metrics for the Regional and Site Leadership teams;
  • Collaborate with relevant stakeholders and coordinate the process of integrating regional information from different databases to produce relevant reports for reporting to regional and site leadership teams;
  • Continuously  explore  opportunities  for  improving  the  quality  of  regional Standard reports, Templates and Presentations to key stakeholders (Corporate, Regional and Site Leadership).

Stakeholder Management

  • Develop and manage crucial business relationships with senior management members across the organization – Corporate Planning, Regional Leadership and Site Management teams – throughout the Strategic Planning processes;
  • Build trust and credibility with regional and site leadership that fosters open communication, collaboration and creates results for the business.

Leadership and Team

  • Actively collaborate in a high-performing team through leadership practices including information sharing;
  • Provide feedback to individuals in the business that improves their strategic planning skills, understanding of Newmont’s portfolio approach and general financial and business acumen;
  • Key to this role is the ability to develop internal relationships with other Newmont employees.

A lot of people take their first sociology course simply to fulfill a college requirement, not knowing much about the field before stepping into that first course. Soon after, however, many fall in love with the subject matter and decide to major in it. If this is you, you may be asking yourself, “What can I do with a degree in sociology?”

Most people who think of themselves as sociologists or have the word sociologist in their job title, have graduate training, but B.A.s in sociology apply the sociological perspective to a wide variety of jobs in such sectors as business, the health professions, the criminal justice system, social services, and government.

As a strong liberal arts major, a B.A. in sociology provides several things:

  • The undergraduate degree provides broad preparation for entry level positions throughout the business, social service, non-profit, and government worlds. Employers look for people with the skills that an undergraduate education in sociology provides, like research, critical thinking, and analytic skills.
  • Since its subject matter is intrinsically fascinating, sociology offers valuable preparation for careers in journalism, politics, public relations, business, or public administration–fields that involve investigative skills and working with diverse groups.
  • Many students choose sociology because they see it as a broad liberal arts base for professions such as law, education, medicine, social work, and counseling. Sociology provides a rich fund of knowledge that directly pertains to each of these fields.

With advanced degrees (M.A.

or Ph.D.), the more likely it is that a job will have the title sociologist, but many opportunities exist–the diversity of sociological careers ranges much further. Many jobs outside of academia do not necessarily carry the specific title of sociologist. These include the following, among others:

  • Sociologists become high school teachers or faculty in colleges and universities, advising students, conducting research. and publishing their work. Over 3,000 colleges currently offer sociology courses.
  • Sociologists enter the corporate, non-profit, and government worlds as directors of research, policy analysts, consultants, human resource managers, and program managers.
  • Practicing sociologists with advanced degrees may be called research analysts, survey researchers. gerontologists, clinical sociologists. statisticians, urban planners, community developers, criminologists, or demographers.
  • Some M.A. and Ph.D. sociologists obtain specialized training to become counselors, therapists, or program directors in social service agencies.

Today, sociologists embark upon literally hundreds of career paths. Although teaching and conducting research remains the dominant activity among the thousands of professional sociologists today, other forms of employment are growing both in number and significance. In some sectors, sociologists work closely with economists, political scientists, anthropologists, psychologists, social workers, and others, reflecting a growing appreciation of sociology s contributions to interdisciplinary analysis and action.

1. A Georgia Blue Card is needed only if you are interested in becoming an Armed Guard.

2. The only way you can register for a blue card is if you have completed the State Certified Armed Guard Training Course. ( The State Certified Training has to be completed prior to Applying for the Blue Card License.

3. You cannot be a convicted Felon and Obtain a Blue Card License but you can Get your Unarmed Guard Certification and can be employed as an unarmed guard.

4. Prior to applying for a State Blue Card you must

A. Complete and pass the State Certified Training through a Licensed instructor. Contact Us.

B. Get your digital fingerprint payment made to Cogent Systems – see link below for GAPS $52-$60

D. Get your application completed by a Licensed Georgia Security Agency and notarized. Make Copies of State Certificates and mail with application.

E. Mail application with State Fee of $70 to the Georgia Board of Private Detective and Security Agencies.

F. Wait for Approval of Blue Card License from the Georgia Board of Private Detective and Security Agencies. http://www.sos.georgia.gov/plb/detective/

Hey, I see no one has responded to you, which is wrong. I went to college and earned 3 certificates in Travel in 2008. I started a home-based business through a host agency for a brief time. If you have a good host agency that is legit, and that pays a good commission split (with low fees), and that has good training and a good reputation, you could do o.k. But, you have to hustle to find your business, and you are in competition with the internet. None of these agencies give you leads, the only one I know is American Express, and you have to have sold approx. $100,000 dollars worth of travel in order to work with them. However, if you find a niche, and a good agency, it is worthwhile because you can travel with FAM trips, and get diccounted travel.

Look on NACTA to find a certified, bonified host agency. Check everything out to see which one suits you, and call them to see how they represent themselves on the phone.

First, find a company to work with that will form a financial foundation to live from. You want to join forces with one of the large and well established psychic companies. How do you do that? Simple, come OFFLINE and trot down to the local newsstand. Go through the UP MARKET magazines and look through the pages for full page or half page psychic adverts only. You want a company that advertises BIG TIME in the quality media. You also need to be looking only for companies advertising with Freecall or Freephone numbers. So that the client can call in without charge to talk to real live customer service operators.

Avoid, like the plague, any company ONLY advertising premium numbers. The telephone psychic jobs you see with these psychic hotlines is in dodgy territory. There is nothing wrong with premium numbers, it’s just that you want to check out telephone psychic jobs with reputable companies and the reputable firms all have easy access free-to-call-in numbers. They will also have premium numbers but that’s OK. When I worked full time with a big psychic company I had 90% of my clients coming through a free to call customer service operator but many regulars sometime prefered to call on my premium line extension if they just want a quick psychic question answered and they didn’t need the full ten or twenty minutes, the norm on a credit card line.

The dodgy psychic hotlines ONLY have premium numbers. They are very difficult to contact and if you take on their telephone psychic jobs you will find they will push you to stretch the calls past certain minimums or they withhold paying you. Don’t waste your time. If you are a good psychic, stick with good psychic companies. Call the customer service number and ask for an application to become one of their readers. They may put you on a waiting list if they have a full quota of readers. But that’s OK; apply to a few more telephone psychic jobs until you click in with the right one. You will be tested and appraised then taken on if all is well. You will in most cases be self employed and that means you handle your own taxes.

You will also be contracted to work with only the one company. That’s good ethical practice. Although I will show you how to set up a second and independent line to your psychic business, under no circumstances EVER bring a client of one company over to another or to yourself. It’s not ethical and most likely not allowed if you read the small print of the contract you will sign.

Once you have yourself established with a good company, you may want to set up a client base of your own too. Maybe you are already set up and you want that extra income stream now. Read on.

    Reflective Practice in Social Work — The Ethical Dimension

    Recently, I received an urgent voicemail message from a hospital social worker: “Please get back to me as soon as possible. I have a meeting tomorrow morning with our head of human resources, and I’m very nervous about it.”

    Later in the day, I connected with the social worker and learned the following: He had been employed by the hospital for seven years and had never been disciplined. His current predicament began when his immediate supervisor called him in to discuss concerns about possible boundary violations and an alleged inappropriate dual relationship with a hospital patient. The social worker explained to me that in his personal life he is actively involved in a community-based group of parents who adopted children from China. The group sponsors a wide range of activities to support and enhance the children’s ethnic identity. Through this involvement, the social worker said, he and his wife had become very friendly with several other adoptive parents.

    About three weeks earlier, one of the parents who had become a good friend was admitted to the social worker’s hospital for treatment of a chronic, debilitating infection. The friend did not receive social work services. During the friend’s hospital stay, the social worker occasionally stopped by his room to say hello and inquire about the friend’s health. The patient’s attending physician had collaborated professionally with the social worker in other hospital cases and was well aware of the patient’s friendship with the social worker.

    One afternoon during the patient’s hospital stay, the physician contacted the social worker and explained that the patient was distraught after having just learned that he was diagnosed with bone cancer. According to the social worker, the physician asked the social worker to visit the patient and offer emotional support. The social worker visited the patient in his room and spent about an hour helping his friend process the distressing medical news.

    The social worker documented this patient encounter in the hospital chart. During a random quality-control review of social workers’ chart entries, the hospital’s social work supervisor read the note and became concerned because the social worker had not been assigned to provide social work services to this patient. The supervisor learned of the social worker and patient’s friendship and notified the director of human resources, who documented this “incident” in the social worker’s personnel record and asked to meet with the social worker.

    The Nature of Reflective Practice
    In 1983, the late scholar Donald Schon published his influential and groundbreaking book The Reflective Practitioner: How Professionals Think in Action . Schon’s thesis, based on his extensive empirical research, was that the most skilled and effective professionals have the ability to pay critical attention to the way they conduct their work at the same time that they do their work. Schon coined the terms “knowing-in-action” and “reflection-in-action,” which suggest that some professionals can take a step back and think hard about what they are doing while they are doing it. The concepts are akin to the widely used social work concept “use of self.”

    Ordinarily the concepts of knowing-in-action and reflection-in-action are applied to practitioners’ cultivation and use of technical skill, whether in surgery, architecture, town planning, engineering, dentistry, or psychotherapy. In my view, and as the above case demonstrates, social workers would do well to extend the application of these compelling concepts to their identification and management of ethical issues in the profession. Ideally, effective practitioners would have the ability to recognize and address ethical issues and challenges as they arise in the immediate context of their work, not later when someone else points them out. Put another way, social workers would have a refined “ethics radar” that increases their ability to detect and respond to ethical issues.

    Of course, the most important benefit is client protection. However, an important by-product is self-protection, that is, the increased likelihood that social workers will protect themselves from ethics-related complaints.

    Implementing Reflective Ethics Practice
    Certainly the hospital social worker who called me with panic in his voice would have benefited from reflective ethics practice and highly sensitive ethics radar. Had he reflected on the ethical dimensions of the boundary challenges that emerged when he interacted with his friend and hospital patient, it is likely that this well-meaning practitioner would have avoided his unpleasant encounter with the human resources department. The social worker’s decision to visit his friend was not the error; that was a humane and compassionate gesture. The error, rather, was not reflecting on his role in that moment and managing the boundaries carefully, including discussing them with his friend and his supervisor.

    In my experience, ethics-related reflection-in-action entails three key elements.

    Knowledge: Skillful management of many ethical dilemmas requires knowledge of core concepts and prevailing standards. Ethics concepts are addressed in professional literature and standards exist in several forms, including relevant codes of ethics, agency policies, statutes, and regulations. For example, the National Association of Social Workers’ Codeof Ethics includes explicit standards pertaining to boundaries, dual relationships, and conflicts of interest (especially section 1.06). It would have been best for the hospital-based social worker to consult relevant literature and standards with regard to conflicts that can arise when a social worker encounters a friend or social acquaintance in the work setting. The hospital’s personnel policies also prohibit dual relationships that involve conflicts of interest.

    In some cases, although not all, statutes and regulations address ethical issues. In the United States, both federal and state laws address various ethical issues, such as confidentiality, privileged communication, informed consent, and social workers’ ethical conduct. Such laws would not have been particularly helpful in the hospital social worker’s case, but often they are helpful and critically important, for example, when social workers must decide whether to disclose confidential information without clients’ consent to protect a third party from harm or whether parental consent is necessary to provide services to minors who seek help with substance abuse but insist that this information be withheld from their parents.

    Transparency: Reflective social workers who sense an ethical issue share their concern with supervisors, colleagues, and appropriate administrators. An effective way to protect clients and practitioners alike is to avoid any suggestion that the ethical issue is being handled “in the dark.” Such clarity demonstrates social workers’ good faith efforts to manage ethical dilemmas responsibly. When appropriate, clients should be included in the conversation.

    Process: Although some ethical decisions are clear-cut, many are not. The hospital social worker who contacted me was unsure about the best way to manage his involvement with a good friend who had become a patient. Unfortunately, the social worker did not notify his supervisor about the dilemma or seek consultation. He documented his lengthy hospital-room encounter with the patient, but doing so in the client’s hospital chart created the impression that the social worker was functioning in his professional capacity, not as a friend. My hunch is that had the social worker notified his supervisor of his friendship with the patient and made clear that any contact with the patient occurred as a friend, the social worker may have avoided any adverse personnel issues. What I have learned is that many ethical decisions are not simple events; they require a considerable, often painstaking, process.

    During the course of the profession’s history, social workers have refined the art of reflective practice. Historically, these skills have been applied primarily to clinical, policy, advocacy, and administrative functions. Clearly, reflective practice should extend to ethics as well.

    Overview

    Introduction to Newport Beach

    Incorporated in 1906, the Pacific coastal city of Newport Beach, California, is situated in Orange County, 10 miles south of downtown Santa Ana and 17 miles south of Anaheim. Bordering the city is Huntington Beach to the west, Costa Mesa and Irvine to the north and Crystal Cove State Park to the east. Newport Beach is home to several well known communities, including Corona del Mar, Balboa Island, Newport Coast, San Joaquin Hills and Balboa Peninsula (also known as Balboa).

    In 1870, Captain Samuel S. Dunnells successfully steered his 105-ton river steamer, the “Vaquero,” through upper Newport Bay, dispelling the prevalent theory at the time that the bay was too treacherous for travel. The harbor was named a “New Port” by the principal landowners in the area, James and Robert McFadden, who created McFadden’s Landing and a few years later, McFadden’s Wharf. By the early 1900s, Newport Beach had already become a tourist destination with the arrival of the Pacific Electric Railway, which terminated at the Balboa Pavilion. By the mid-20th century, a number of famous celebrities would call Newport Beach their home. One of the most recognizable was John Wayne (known as “the Duke”). Other area celebrities over the years have included Shirley Temple, James Cagney, Humphrey Bogart, Errol Flynn, Roy Rogers, Joey Bishop and George Burns. Today, Newport Beach remains very much a tourist destination, possessing a harbor crowded with boats, streets busy with shoppers and 6.2 miles of beaches filled with surfers and swimmers.

    Things To Do In Newport Beach

    Visitors to Newport Beach will never be at a loss for things to do, places to go or sights to see. True to its name, the city offers numerous beaches to suit every beachgoer’s taste, among them the Wedge (a body-surfing hot-spot). Other outdoor attractions include:

    • The Catalina Flyer: a giant 500 passenger catamaran, which provides daily transportation from the Balboa Peninsula to Santa Catalina Island.
    • The Balboa Fun Zone: features a Ferris wheel, a 14-foot trampoline, an old-time carousel built in 1938, laser tag, and bumper cars in addition to restaurants and shops.
    • The Back Bay: a wildlife sanctuary.
    • The Newport Aquatic Center: offers kayaking, canoeing, and rowing and has been used as a training ground for many Olympians throughout the years.
    • The Balboa Island Ferry: transports pedestrians, cars, and bikes across the harbor channel between Balboa Island and the Balboa Peninsula.
    • Fashion Island: provides an outdoor shopping experience with over 200 stores and 40 restaurants.

    Among the many cultural and historic attractions in Newport Beach are the following:

    • Newport Theater Arts Center: Known as the finest community theater in Orange County.
    • Sherman Gardens Photo Tour: includes a beautiful public garden as well as the Sherman Library for California history.
    • The Orange County Museum of Art: exhibits art from a variety of modern artists.
    • Balboa Pavilion: Newport Beach’s first landmark, built in 1905.
    • McFadden’s Wharf: built in 1889.
    • Newport Harbor Nautical Museum: the largest nautical museum in Orange County.
    • Lido Marine Village: open air center with brick walkways, interesting shops, and gondola rides.

    Annual events which take place in Newport Beach include the Newport to Ensenada Yacht Race and Newport Beach International Film Festival (both held in April), the Newport Beach Festival of the Arts (held in May), the SandCastle Contest (a sand-sculpture contest held at Corona del Mar City and State Beach every summer), Flight of the Lasers (a sailboat race held in Newport Harbor every July), Character Boat Parade/Wooden Boat Festival (also held in July), Taste of Newport (a three-day food, wine and music festival held in September) and the Newport Harbor Christmas Boat Parade (held in mid-December).

    Orange County is home to several world-class attractions that are located outside the city borders of Newport Beach but still within easy commuting distance. These include Disneyland and Disney’s California Adventure Park (Anaheim), Knott’s Berry Farm Knott’s Soak City (Buena Park), the International Surfing Museum (Huntington Beach), the Orange County Zoo (Orange), the Wild Rivers Waterpark (Irvine) and the Marconi Automotive Museum (Tustin).

    Orange County is also home to several pro sports teams. Baseball fans can watch Major League action when the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim play their home games. Hockey fans can take the short trip to Anaheim to see the NHL’s Mighty Ducks. Surfers will recognize nearby Huntington Beach as home to the Surfing Hall of Fame.

This book is about the deep trends over the next 20 years that will shape your life. I suggest we embrace these changes, including ubiquitous tracking, accessible artificial intelligence, constant sharing, getting paid to watch ads, VR in your home, etc. I am very excited by the book; I ve been told it is my most readable work yet.

    My current passion this year is all Asia. I am finishing up a huge, huge book of my documentary photographs of the disappearing traditions of Asia, between Turkey and Japan. I will try to get to the few remaining countries of Asia that I have not yet visited. The still-untitled book should be published in 2018.

    Three years ago I published my first fiction, The Silver Cord. I worked on it for 11 years! At 464 oversized pages, this huge book was fan-funded, the result of a successful Kickstarter-funded campaign. It is now available on Amazon. The Silver Cord contains two volumes of an epic story about angels and robots and a girl hero who must save the humans in between. The craftsmanship of the printing, including a 6-page fold out, is stunning. It has to be seen to be believed. If you like the graphic novel let me know, and we’ll do the next story.

    My Job Search Process

    As an OPT (Optional Practical Training) International Student, I had been in the same shoes are you were few years ago. I graduated from Chemical engineering from Bangalore University. I saw the trend was to start reading GRE and Toefl and plan to go to USA. Well since the job market in India was not that great, so thought why not follow the trend. Landed in US and joined master’s program in Computer Science. With 9/11 and bad economy, there were no chances of funding or even getting on-campus jobs. Somehow my luck favored and I got my first on campus job in few months. Then got my Assistantship, then my Internship and was ready to graduate.

    Job market was still worse. More then job market I didn’t have a mentor to guide me through the OPT/CPT job search process. My friends were in the same boat as I was.

    OPT Student Switching from Non IT to IT

    Well that’s a tough one…For OPT Students in the conventional majors and who bagged the OPT Jobs in their fields of study…its not at all concern for them to think about this shift at least for the time being. However this thought might arise in them once they settle down in their job and start feeling the ennui about their daily routine due to the lack of freshness or adventure. Also the lure of big pay packets is one main thing that attracts them to IT. Along with these there might be Junta who is really interested in programming stuff, web designing, has the curiosity to learn more about the business side, about finance and IT integration etc which lures them into the IT sector.

    There are many OPT Students who couldn’t grab/take the OPT Jobs in their major of study due to various reasons such as economical downturn, H1 cap reached by the time they got their job etc.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES

    Strategic Planning Process

    • Assistance to the Regional Planning Director in the facilitation and management of the Regional Strategic Plan development process;
    • Coordinate and facilitate the continuous improvement, alignment and integration of the Strategic Planning process into the business to deliver on Newmont’s vision and mission;
    • Development of the Strategic Planning timeline as well as the Planning process to ensure alignment with Regional and Corporate Calendars;
    • Collaborating with the Regional Leadership and Site Management teams to agree on and select key stakeholders to facilitate relevant inputs and build consensus around critical growth projects in the Strategic Plan building blocks;
    • Coordinating and facilitating all Regional Strategic Planning events, including Workshops, Review meetings and recommended/approved options for Corporate;
    • Assist  the  Regional  Planning  Director  in  managing  the  internal  reporting process that summarizes strategic planning efforts and provides the regional Strategic and Business Plan recommendations to Corporate;
    • Coordinate  the  development  of  regional  SWOT  analysis  and  subsequent integration of risk information into the regional and corporate business planning process; by leveraging on effective relationships within the regional and corporate leadership and planning personnel;
    • Conduct  a  post-planning  review  through  the  Lessons  Learned  Report  and different Plan versions Variance Analysis to determine continuous improvements to the planning process and suggest further improvements to the Regional Planning Director.
    • Provide management with the appropriate information for various “what if”
    • scenarios.

    Strategic Planning Tools

    • In coordination with the Regional Planning Director, manage the development and deployment of Regional Strategic Planning Tools to improve on planning analysis and reports;
    • Continuous   improvement   and   development   of   the   regional   Portfolio Management Tool (PMT) and similar and further integration into the planning process;
    • Subject Matter  Expert for  the  Strategic Planning analytical tools.  Requires knowledge of financial accounting, tax and project valuation modeling;
    • Effectively communicate analytical results and  methods to  personnel at  all levels of the organization both verbally and in written formats.

    Regional Portfolio Analysis

    • Support major growth projects in the region throughout the study process by introducing portfolio view and “layering” of projects;
    • Through the Regional Planning Director, collaborate with Site, Regional
    • Leadership and Projects teams as well as Corporate Planning to ensure region specifics and views are considered and accounted for in the Global Portfolio of operating scenarios;
    • Facilitating and ensuring alignment of major growth projects’ objectives to the regional and corporate strategic goals to ensure their progress through the Stage Gate Process;
    • Facilitate continuous improvement of portfolio decision making analysis and assist in information sharing of best practices;
    • Own the compilation process of the deliverables/presentations that communicate the results of the internal assets of the region as well as assessing the external opportunities regarding future projects and making relevant recommendations.

    Regional Reporting Framework

    • Manage the development, maintenance and continuous improvement of  the Regional Planning Reporting Framework to relevantly address the information requirements of the Regional, Site as well as Corporate Leadership Teams;
    • Collaborate  with  relevant  stakeholders to  continuously identify,  define  and establish relevant KPIs and Metrics for performance related reporting to Regional and Site Leadership;
    • Own the process of development and deployment of Standard regional reporting templates on agreed KPIs and Metrics for the Regional and Site Leadership teams;
    • Collaborate with relevant stakeholders and coordinate the process of integrating regional information from different databases to produce relevant reports for reporting to regional and site leadership teams;
    • Continuously  explore  opportunities  for  improving  the  quality  of  regional Standard reports, Templates and Presentations to key stakeholders (Corporate, Regional and Site Leadership).

    Stakeholder Management

    • Develop and manage crucial business relationships with senior management members across the organization – Corporate Planning, Regional Leadership and Site Management teams – throughout the Strategic Planning processes;
    • Build trust and credibility with regional and site leadership that fosters open communication, collaboration and creates results for the business.

    Leadership and Team

    • Actively collaborate in a high-performing team through leadership practices including information sharing;
    • Provide feedback to individuals in the business that improves their strategic planning skills, understanding of Newmont’s portfolio approach and general financial and business acumen;
    • Key to this role is the ability to develop internal relationships with other Newmont employees.

    Hey, I see no one has responded to you, which is wrong. I went to college and earned 3 certificates in Travel in 2008. I started a home-based business through a host agency for a brief time. If you have a good host agency that is legit, and that pays a good commission split (with low fees), and that has good training and a good reputation, you could do o.k. But, you have to hustle to find your business, and you are in competition with the internet. None of these agencies give you leads, the only one I know is American Express, and you have to have sold approx. $100,000 dollars worth of travel in order to work with them. However, if you find a niche, and a good agency, it is worthwhile because you can travel with FAM trips, and get diccounted travel.

    Look on NACTA to find a certified, bonified host agency. Check everything out to see which one suits you, and call them to see how they represent themselves on the phone.

    While many primary care providers have shifted to some type of alternative care delivery model (such as direct primary care, cash-only, or concierge medicine), these models continue to evolve and a big question lingers: are these models sustainable?

    Another question in the background is: what types of health outcomes do direct primary care (DPC) models provide?

    While direct primary care and concierge care have similarities (and some may use these terms interchangeably), they are not exactly the same.

    Patients who have the means to pay for either direct primary care or concierge care may achieve higher patient satisfaction and experience scores. They may have easier access to their providers (after all, they are paying for it). And for the primary care providers who shift to a DPC model, many of them experience greater work-life balance and career satisfaction. After all, a typical patient panel under the DPC model may only include several hundred patients.

    While the Internet debates the future of the DPC model, it will also be interesting to see how other alternative practice models will blend and leverage telehealth/telemedicine, machine learning and artificial intelligence, and more effective patient engagement strategies designed around wellness and prevention.

    Western Institutional Review Board (WIRB) is currently searching for a dedicated medical professional to join their mission of protecting human research subjects as a Board Chair in our Puyallup, WA location.

    Position Summary:
    Provide the highest possible support to WIRB s ethical review and research safety programs in areas and issues requiring medical training and judgment. This most commonly involves the Institutional Review Board, and may also include providing medical advice to biosafety committees. This is a full-time position. Essential Duties Responsibilities:

    • Chair Board meetings to ensure compliance with federal and state laws as well as WIRB policies and procedures, and facilitate discussion from Board Members. Provide scientific, ethical and regulatory support and advice to Board members
    • Analyze and present protocols and other agenda items at Board meetings to facilitate informed decision making. Set standards and role model effective presentation and discussion for all Board members.
    • Analyze research submissions, identify problems and issues, collect additional information or request corrections, and draft memoranda.
    • Research, draft, and present reports to the Board on a wide range of topics, including but not limited to, investigator misconduct, site visits, FDA and sponsor audits of investigators and others, issues involving human subjects, sponsors, and institutions.
    • Advise clients of applicable scientific information and regulations pertaining to human subject research, both orally and in writing.
    • Analyze requests for exemption determinations and provide formal written opinions that proposed projects are exempt from the requirements for IRB review or do not require IRB review.
    • Provide guidance to clients to help resolve scientific, ethical and regulatory issues and difficulties.
    • Review literature and other materials to keep abreast of developments in the regulatory, legal, and ethical arenas.

    Educational Qualifications:

    • MD or DO

    Qualifications/Experience Requirements:

    • Able to Chair Board meeting. Can effectively present information to a diverse group of professionals
    • Experience in clinical research, IRB, and/or similar medical ethics practices experience strongly desired
    • Six or more years of related clinical experience and/or training, preferred
    • Ability to apply principles of logical or scientific thinking to a wide range of intellectual and practical problems.
    • Knowledge of MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook and MS Windows.

    Early Childhood Education Courses

    Early childhood education training is structured to teach both the theoretical and practical sides of early childhood development (children 12 and under).

    You will learn about basic health, safety and behaviour as well as how to understand children’s environments and early learning mechanisms. You will also learn to plan early childhood education curriculums for a variety of levels, and will develop your writing and communication skills to work with children, parents, and members of the education and teaching system.

    ECE programs have extensive field placement opportunities, placing students in preschools, child care programs, hospitals and kindergartens for real-world experience.

    General Early Childhood Education Program Requirements

    Many colleges offer this program at an entry level, meaning requirements include only an Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) or equivalent, with a grade 12 English credit (additional academic requirements may be added by specific institutions).

    Other Ontario colleges structure the course as a continued education program, requiring you to have completed an undergraduate degree. This program will often be accelerated to three semesters, rather than the traditional four-semester program.

    Additional requirements to both programs could include health certificates and immunizations, Police Record Checks and admissions testing. Experience working with young children will be seen as a definite asset, and may be required by many institutions.

    Early Childhood Education Jobs and Salaries
