What is a Rejuva Center?

There are several innovative beauty breakthroughs that can rejuvenate the face instantly and affordably without the risks and downtime of surgery. The Williams Rejuva Center offers these innovations to reduce wrinkles improve your skin and beautifully reshape your face in one simple office treatment that can last for 6 months or longer.

The Williams Rejuva Center assures clinical excellence under the direction of Dr. Edwin Williams. We offer convenient scheduling, efficient, courteous service and follow-up care, and all in a private and secure setting.

Understanding Minimally Invasive Procedures

Minimally invasive procedures are those that require little or no downtime. The Williams Rejuva Center offers a number of minimally invasive procedures including BOTOX®. Restylane. Juvederm, Sculprta, Radiesse. medicated skin creams, medical facial peels, laser treatments, and skin rejuvenation programs .

While BOTOX® Cosmetic act to relax the muscles and smooth lines, Juvederm. Restylane and Radiesse act to plump up or fill in lines. Medicated creams, medical facial peels, and Lite Touch laser treatments are all scientifically proven to stimulate collagen production. As we age, we lose collagen, so why not stimulate it!

BOTOX® Cosmetic and the new state-of-the-art dermal fillers, such as Restylane and Radiesse. have transformed the war against wrinkles. It s all about technique. They are used in creative ways to compliment each other. BOTOX® Cosmetic is used to minimize wrinkles in the forehead, around the eyes, upper lips and mouth. Restylane and Radiesse are used to restore a more youthful appearance by enhancing the size and shape of your lip and by countering the downward sagging that occurs with aging. These products are combined for a nonsurgical lift that is ideal for patients who want a viable and safe alternative to surgery.

Medicated skin creams that contain Trentenoin (Retin-A) are scientifically proven to stimulate collagen production. The Williams Rejuva Center makes these creams available to our patients. We have found that, in the past, many patients have not been properly instructed on the use of these medicated creams. Our highly trained Cosmetic Nurse Specialists are here to teach you how to apply these creams to obtain their maximum benefits. Dr. Edwin Williams feels that most patients benefit from Tretinoin, and has formulated this ingredient into products with a creamier less irritating base. These products stimulate collagen, lighten brown spots, and are to be used in conjunction with the cleansers and moisturizers that are recommended by your esthetician. If you are not currently working with an esthetician, the Cosmetic Nurse Specialist would be happy to refer you to someone.

Medical facial peels are also proven to stimulate collagen. Increased collagen production helps tighten the skin and smooth out lines. The surface layer of old skin peels off and a new layer of skin is revealed. Then, medicated creams and moisturizers are able to penetrate the new cells more effectively. These peels are also effective for pigmentation irregularities and help to even out skin tone. These peels usually require a 3 day recovery period.

Lite Touch laser treatments also stimulate collagen and are effective in the treatment of rosacea and spider veins. The Willliams Rejuva Center s laser was scientifically proven to stimulate the production of collagen in a study conducted by Dr. Edwin Williams, the findings of his study were published in the Facial Plastic Surgery Archives magazine in 2001. These laser treatments will affect the color, texture, and tone of your skin, giving you a brighter more youthful look.

The Williams Rejuva Center s 6-month skin rejuvenation program incorporates treatments that stimulate collagen, improve hyper pigmentation problems (brown spots), and erase redness or spider veins. It improves skin texture, tone and color. This program offers two medicated peels, four Lite Touch laser treatments, medicated creams, and a basic skin care regime to maintain your beautiful results. The Williams Rejuva Center also offers a maintenance package of four full face smoothbeam laser treatments for after the 6 month program, please feel free to call the Williams Rejuva Center for more information.

Security Guard Practice Test With Answers #security #guard #exam #answers,security #guard

#

  • Gasoline, oil, grease
  • Wood, paper, cloth
  • Metal, Dry leaves, Tree branches
  • Electrical equipment, House hold garbage
Hint

Class B/C: Flammable liquid and gas

These are fires whose fuel is flammable or combustible liquid or gas. The US system designates all such fires Class B .

In the European/Australian system, flammable liquids are designated Class B , while burning gases are separately designated Class C .

These fires follow the same basic fire tetrahedron (heat, fuel, oxygen, chemical reaction) as ordinary combustible fires, except that the fuel in question is a flammable liquid such as gasoline, or gas such as natural gas.

A solid stream of water should never be used to extinguish this type because it can cause the fuel to scatter, spreading the flames.

The most effective way to extinguish a liquid or gas fueled fire is by inhibiting the chemical chain reaction of the fire, which is done by dry chemical and Halon extinguishing agents, although smothering with CO2 or, for liquids, foam is also effective.

Halon has fallen out of favor in recent times because it is an ozone-depleting material; the Montreal Protocol declares that Halon should no longer be used. Chemicals such as FM-200 are now the recommended halogenated suppressant.

Question 2 of 10

The primary role of a security guard/proprietary private security officer should be to ________?

  • Protect people and property.
  • Enforce the law.
  • Act like a peace officer.
  • Arrest law breakers.

How will a security guard stop unauthorised visitors to enter the gate

On the Security Officer s hiring test, there are several questions as to what you like to do during your time off. The answers include fishing and reading . Are either of these the correct response? What are they looking for in the answer?

Mark, thanks for commenting.

Since I don t know which US state for which you took the exam, I have to make a lot of assumptions here.

I also don t know what other answer choices were there in the examination.

Since you gave only two choices, I would say Fishing can be a better answer compared to Reading .

The reason for my choice is that Fishing involves patience, observing and waiting. Most of the Security Guard / Security Officer positions require that you wait at your post, observing people and things.

As you already know, the most important responsibility of a security guard or officer is to observe and report, while waiting or watching at their station to provide a visual deterrent so as to protect people and property.

So, all in all, given the choices of Fishing and Reading I would say Fishing is a better choice.

Thank you for visiting. If you have a question or comment, please feel free to write to us Cancel reply

For help desk feedback, what – s the best Yes #help

#

I’ve seen various questions proposed for soliciting feedback on incident resolution. Examples include:

  1. Did we fix your issue?
  2. Were you happy with the service we provided?
  3. Did this resolution help?

In the context of Help Desk feedback, which probably provides the best indicator of overall quality of service?

I would tend toward #1, but that is partially answered by how often users re-open the ticket (using a ticket survey makes this more reliably though, because this helps avoid them creating duplicate requests for an unsolved issue).

Number 2 is a good overall happiness metric, since few users will be pleased by a wrong answer, and a right answer delivered unpleasantly is still something that needs to be addressed.

The last covers the common cases where you direct users to the correct department (IT can’t fix your payroll issue, but HR can at x123). It was helpful, but did not fix their problem. But it also seems a wishy-washy question.

Can someone point me to any literature on the subject of one-question Help Desk metrics?

asked Mar 12 ’15 at 18:33

I think the question you may ask yourself is does a closed-ended question provide you with the information you are wanting to know. The options you are presenting are YES and NO.

Often the answers aren’t so black and white. YES my issue was fixed, but not another issue that I had at the time. NO my issue wasn’t fixed because after it was “resolved” it happened again.

You may want to ask more open-ended questions to allow the respondent to give those details that could be important to you. A great video you may want to watch on YouTube from UX Mastery is Better User Research Through Surveys. If you are looking for literature on the subject they also have books. I’m not affiliated with them, but I have personally used their books and videos before.

answered Jul 23 ’15 at 18:09

To clarify the question, you’re asking what follow-up is best for a user who has now received an answer to a question.

The tone depends on the general tone of your company, website, etc, but doesn’t have to. If it’s playful, then the question should follow suit. If not, it still can be playful. Ultimately you’re looking for feedback, so the question is “what question promotes the highest chance for honest feedback after the user has attempted to have a question answered?”

In my experience that has always been a yes/no or number-rated question, meaning:

  • Did you get the answer you were looking for? Yes/No (with followup on no with “why” text input
  • How close were we to answering your question? 1-10, where 10 is a perfect answer and 1 is that we didn’t answer it at all.

Sadly I don’t have any literature on the subject. However, we are currently A/B testing this ourselves, and have found that people who do answer are more willing to do so when the question is phrased more relateably (more playfully) and with the simplest options (aka a Yes/No dropdown is two clicks vs. a 1-10 selector, which is 1 click) always winning out.

answered Apr 24 ’15 at 3:06

Thank you for your input. But if I may, why is yes/no two clicks? We use a yes/no where the choice is the submit button, so literally one click. Myrddin Emrys Apr 24 ’15 at 12:22

That s fine. If it s a dropdown with 2 clicks, then it s worse. But I think of it this way: if the physical cost is light, people are generally willing to put in the slightest additional cognitive cost for free. So take advantage of that. Jamezrp Apr 24 ’15 at 16:12

Just to add, I know the examples you provided were just shorthand quick examples but make sure in implementation you avoid shifting the blame onto the user.

Did we fix your issue?

If I were using an application and something went wrong due to an overloaded backend, poorly implemented code, or incompetency of an employee and I was forced to put in a helpdesk ticket to get my problem resolved, I would likely take it as an affront if I was responded to with “Did we fix your issue?”. It was the applications issue, not mine. I may be nitpicking but I know plenty of people in the heat of frustration from it not working in the first place that would take offence to such a response.

How to Answer Behavioral Interview Questions – The Muse #the #ultimate

#

How to Answer Tell Me About a Time When. Interview Questions

You’ve reviewed your resume. practiced your elevator pitch. checked out common behavioral interview questions. and reviewed a few stories you can share during the interview. All is well, and you’re feeling confident. And when the interviewer says, “Tell me about a time you disagreed with your supervisor,” you are ready to go and launch straight into a story about that one time you bravely confronted the director of marketing at your previous company about a new campaign you had a bad feeling about.

OK, so maybe that doesn’t sound like you—yet. Let’s take a step back and talk about how you can get there.

Pick the Right Story

All these “Tell me about a time when…” questions require stories. As a hiring manager, it’s incredibly unsatisfying to interview someone who has no stories to share. After all, how can someone know what you can do if you can’t talk about what you’ve done? Don’t be that job candidate.

So, how do you find the right stories to share? Go through the job description and highlight all the soft skills that are featured. You’ll likely find things like “ability to work on a team and independently,” “comfort with multitasking,” or “strong communication skills.” Then, come up with an example of a time you demonstrated each of these traits—though keep in mind that you don’t necessarily need a different example for each. In fact, it’s better to come up with stories that are flexible, since you’ll likely have to adapt them to the exact questions anyway.

There are, of course, a few things that interviewers frequently like to ask about that will not be on the job descriptions. Be prepared for “negative” questions, like “Tell me about a time you had to deal with a conflict on your team” or “Tell me about a time you failed.” It’s not that interviewers are out to get you—how you handle conflict and failure are good things to know—it’s just not the best idea to put “must deal with frequent team conflict” in a job description.

Finally, brainstorm a few more questions that could potentially come up based on the position you’re applying for and your particular situation. For example, if you have a big gap on your resume, you’ll want to be prepared to talk about why you’re no longer at your previous job (more on that here ), or if you’re coming into a newly merged department, you should be prepared to discuss a time you’ve been part of a big change.

WANT TO MAKE AN AMAZING FIRST IMPRESSION.

and land the job of your dreams?

Talk to an Interview Coach Today

Make a Statement

Once you have your stories, it’s time to think a little deeper about why these questions are asked in the first place. What does the interviewer actually want to know?

Take a few seconds to think about this before you start answering the question—even if you have the perfect story prepared—so that you can make an appropriate introductory statement about essentially what the moral of your story is going to be. The reason for this is that even though the interviewer is specifically asking you to tell a story, the idea is that he or she will learn something about the way you do things. The problem with this is that what the interviewer gleans from your story could be very different from what you were hoping to share.

For example, say you tell that story about standing up to the director of marketing when asked to talk about conflict with a previous supervisor. You eloquently move through the story about how you shared your hesitation about the new marketing campaign to no avail, but once the initial numbers came in, it was clear that you were right. You triumphantly showed the performance to the director, and she agreed to scrap the campaign. While this story is definitely suitable, there are actually a few different ways it could be taken the wrong way. The interviewer could hone in on the fact that you really didn’t do anything until it was too late or that you were unpersuasive or a poor communicator the first time you raised concerns about the campaign.

To make sure your stories are as effective as possible, make a statement before you start telling the story. In this particular example, it might be something like this, “I learned early on in my professional career that it’s fine to disagree if you can back up your hunches with data.” Now, when you tell your story, it’s not about the various ways you could have approached the situation better, but about how you learned from that experience and how you use it to inform future disagreements.

Finish Strong

So, when it comes to these behavioral interview questions. have some stories prepared and then practice framing them based on the question you’re asked. Practice, practice, practice, and you’ll sound like a natural in no time. The final piece of the puzzle is wrapping up your answers well. You don’t want to ruin your perfect frame and story by ending your response with, “And… yeah.”

Instead, try connecting the story back to the company or position. Quickly explaining how your experience would be useful in the position you’re interviewing for is always a strong way to wrap up. Another way to finish up a response is to give the “in short” version of the answer. For example, “In short, it’s not that I’m an amazing multitasker—I just set and review my priorities frequently.” Wrapping up an interview answer (see more in-depth tips here ) is such a commonly neglected area of preparation, but it can really help you nail the “strong communicator” impression, so don’t disregard it when you’re practicing.

The thing people assume about these questions is that they’re all about the story. And, yes, that is a critical component. But even if your story isn’t exactly what the interview question asked for, if it’s framed well and you go the extra mile to tell the interviewer what he or she should take away from it, you’ll actually end up making a stronger impression.

So, don’t stress too much about having the perfect stories lined up or the exact relevant experience. Instead, focus on the messages you’re trying to communicate to the hiring manager, and back them up with the stories that you have.

Why do you need a degree to teach?

You need to be able to account for an understanding of developmental psychology and the individual learning modes of children. Teaching is never restricted. show more You need to be able to account for an understanding of developmental psychology and the individual learning modes of children. Teaching is never restricted to the ABC s and even then there are a multitude of ways to teach and learn the ABC, and they are of varying degrees of effectiveness depending on both cognitive and cultural characteristics of any given child (try using a picture of an apple to teach a sudanese 4 year old the letter a for example- or teaching a child with a low emotional/musical intelligence the ABC using a song).

You also need to be able to reflect and account for how you teach and not just teach by ear as this will enable to to approach your professional development logically thereby enabling you to identify what particular aspects in your teaching you can strengthen and why- just because you can successfully teach say for example, your kids the abc does not mean you can effectively teach a group of thirty of other peoples children from all walks of life and with varying degrees of aptitude the same thing.

Teaching young children is arguably even harder and requires more understanding than teaching older children as you are responsible to a large degree for a childs learning in their developmental cycle. Once you have a degree in education you will thank the Gods they didn t let you into a classroom without one- and even one is often not even enough to be an effective teacher.

EDIT to respond to your other details.
You can assist a teacher in the classroom whilst you get a degree- that s called being a teacher s aide or a teacher s assistant- you will be working with high needs children within the classroom- the reason this job is not more common and there are not more teacher s aides is simply a matter of funding in education- there is not enough funding to pay teacher s aides to help all the student s that need them.

That being said- the direction i d recommend for you is to approach your local schools and call your state/national public school board explain your intention to study education and inquire as to jobs available without initial qualifications- secondly if you have an income you can get a student loan to help pay, third you can enrol in a part-time/low-cost education degree- if this is your first degree you may even qualify for some government assistance.
Good luck- the world needs good teachers.

Teachers in the UK try hard to receive the recognition they deserve for the demanding job they do and part of this is a rigorous and academic requirement. There are plans to make teaching a mastered profession.

Indeed, there is a need for good quality teachers and good male role models, however, don t be under any illusion about what a teacher does in school.

Some universities (Christ Church in Canterbury for example) are offering new courses where people can train on the job whilst studying for a degree, however, you need to be prepared to work extraordinarily hard.

The point of a degree iin teaching 5 years old is that they want to make sure that the teachers are well qualified and not just some joe schmoe

If you really want to be a classroom teacher, have you looked into Teach For America? From what I understand, if you commit to teaching at an underpriveledged school for two years, they will take care of your student loans incurred while getting your degree and teaching credential.

By the way, if time is important to you, you probably shouldn t pursue a career in education. Teachers have to spend a lot of time outside of class hours preparing for class, grading tests and papers, and more.

What is a Title Loan?

A car title loan is a fast way to borrow money using the equity in your paid off vehicle as collateral for a loan. Call us now for instant approval.

Why should I pick your company?

We have one of the lowest rates. Clients are funded in 30 minutes or less. Our application fee is the same no matter how much you borrow. No credit checks. Friendly customer service that will work with you during these hard times.

Do I need good credit to get a loan?

No, your credit history is not a factor. Your approval is based upon your vehicle’s equity, vehicle’s condition and your income.

Can I pay off my loan early without a penalty?

Yes, we do not charge prepayment fees. You can pay off any portion of your loan at any time without incurring a penalty. We encourage you to pay back your loan as early as you like.

STARBUCKS Interview Guide – Interview Questions and Answers #ssrs #interview #questions

Brilliant Interview Answers for STARBUCKS

By former Store Manager and Interviewer at STARBUCKS. Mathew Arnolds

For people who apply for positions of Baristas, Shift Supervisors, Assistant Store Managers, Store Managers, mid-level corporate positions and similar job openings at STARBUCKS.

In a few hours from now, you will be ready to ace your interview at STARBUCKS

  • Did you know that the number of interviewed job applicants at STARBUCKS exceeds the number of job openings in a ratio higher than 7:1 ?
  • I interviewed more than three hundred job applicants at Starbucks and more than two thousand people in other companies. Let me show you the questions STARBUCKS interviewers use, and the answers they want to get.

I guarantee you will:

  • Interview at STARBUCKS with confidence. without any job interview stress.
  • Make a best possible impression on the interviewers at STARBUCKS.
  • Have a brilliant answer ready to all difficult interview questions.
  • Get a job on your very first try at STARBUCKS.

See yourself what the fellow STARBUCKS employees think about it:

I tried to get a job at STARBUCKS one year ago, but I did not receive a callback after the interview. Simply nothing. When I got a second chance in another store, I decided to purchase your Interview Guide. I followed the advice, step by step, answer after answer. I was offered a job of a shift manager in a local STARBUCKS store.

Alica Watermooth. United States

STARBUCKS is immensely popular in my city. I came for an interview one hour earlier and saw at least ten other people waiting there. However, with the help of brilliant interview answers from your guide. I knew exactly what to do and wasn t scared of the competition. They offered me a full time barista position right after the interview! They didn t even wait for the other interviews to finish!

Armando Pega, Canada

I always dreamed about working at STARBUCKS. I love their coffee and I love being around young people. My job interview was a piece of cake once I understood all hidden tests their managers use while interviewing candidates. I was amazed with your eBook and they were amazed with my behavior. Result: Full time job contract!

Jack Freendler, United States

From: Mathew Arnolds

Thursday, 2nd February 2017

Dear Job Seeker,

I worked as a shift supervisor, and later as a store manager at STARBUCKS. I led interviews in our store, and later also in two other stores. Let me tell you something:

STARBUCKS interview seems to be easy, but it is not. Job applicants are tested with a lot of tests, and they are even not aware of that happening. . For example, think about the complimentary drink in an interview. Do you really think it is just a freebie to make you feeling better?

It is not. It is also a test. What you say, if you accept it, what you choose, how you drink it everything is observed and noticed. And that was just a drink. There are many other things most job seekers have no idea about. And to make it even more difficult, managers at STARBUCKS will give you some tough personal and behavioral questions. An easy interview? I doubt that.

In fact most people fail in this interview. But,

  • They fail not because they lack the qualification
  • They fail not because they are stupid.
  • They fail not because they could not handle the job.

They fail, simply because they have no idea about how to sell themselves in an interview and what the interviewers want to hear from them.

How could they succeed? They are students and graduates, they are technicians and employees, in good means. But they are not skilled in the art of acing an interview. That isn t their field of expertise… Nobody told them what to do, what really mattered in an interview, what questions they should expect, and what answers they should choose. They fail.

But times have changed, for both of us. I do not work for STARBUCKS anymore. I decided to change my career and became a full time interview coach. With my career change your situation has changed also. You can download my STARBUCKS Interview Guide, and learn the SB interview secrets.

  • I am going to show you brilliant answers to the twenty most common interview questions at STARBUCKS. It doesn’t matter if you are a fresh graduate, or have even not graduated yet. It doesn’t matter if you apply for a barista position, shift manager, or just try to get a part time job at STARBUCKS. There is a good answer for everyone!
  • I am going to demonstrate (on practical examples) how to flourish in all hidden tests in STARBUCKS interview. You will enjoy the interview once you know what exactly happens there, and how to benefit from it.
  • To summarize it, I will show you how to ace your interview at STARBUCKS, from start to end.

No matter how bad you think your interview performance is at the moment, I guarantee you will quickly learn how to impress the interviewers.

I was there. I interviewed for STARBUCKS and believe the you can benefit from my knowledge. But let s see. Maybe you understand everything already, knowing how to answer the following questions:

  • If another co-worker were gossiping about someone else something which is untrue, how would you react?
  • Why this position?
  • What do you like about coffee?
  • Give an example of the best customer service you ever provided.
  • This job is a routine work. What would motivate you to do it well every day?
  • What are your strengths and weaknesses?

It is not easy, is it? … It can be very easy with the help of my STARBUCKS Interview Guide!

See the sample below:

(If you can not see the sample properly on your screen, please download it here as .PDF file.)

This was just one interview question. A small fraction of 39 pages long, highly specialized e-book for job seekers at STARBUCKS. in which you’ll find:

  • Information on what to focus while completing the online application on STARBUCKS career website, in order to ensure you will get a phone call from the manager .
  • How to handle the phone call from STARBUCKS manager, and get an invitation for an interview .
  • Free drink what it really means and what to take.
  • How to act in an interview understand this meeting and learn to flourish in it.
  • Waiting times another test at STARBUCKS.
  • Interview attire how to improve your chances of getting a job.
  • Brilliant sample answers to eighteen most common interview questions they use at STARBUCKS.
  • Interview follow up options and samples.
  • and much more

Enrolled Agent vs. CPA

Which is right for you?

If you plan to focus your practice on tax you may want to consider a lesser known alternative to the CPA, and become an enrolled agent. The public perceives the CPA as “tax preparer” but many who enter the field of public accounting never touch a tax return. In fact, preparing taxes does not require a credential at all anybody can do it.

So, what exactly is an enrolled agent? An enrolled agent demonstrates a special competency in tax matters by passing the enrolled agent exam. Enrolled agents are admitted to practice before the IRS allowing them to do anything a CPA or attorney can do on any matter before the IRS.

While this credential is not nearly as recognizable as the CPA, enrolled agents have been around since the late 1800’s. The enrolled agent designation is the highest credential in the field of tax issued by the US Department of Treasury and the exam is far easier to pass.

When I was young, I was just so open-minded and non-judgmental! I started smoking pot, and in the beginning I felt so peaceful I believed that if the whole word smoked weed, there would be no war.

Little did I know that my so-called friends did not feel the same way. All the time I thought we were bonding when we smoked a bowl together, they were stealing from me and talking **** on me every time I turned my back.

My open-minded non-judgmental NAIVE hippy self at age 18 decided to move in with a pot-smoking boyfriend. Turned out the boyfriend was an addict who dealt to support his habit. I didn t realize that until long after I moved in and he had me hooked on the harder stuff. He was extremely abusive. He screamed at me constantly when I was high. Talk about a buzz kill. He would belittle me in front of his friends and they would join in.

He couldn t keep a job, and he would take my tips from waitressing to pay his dealer. He couldn t even pay rent of $150 so we got kicked out and often went without food. After a year of his bullshit, I finally left him and he threatened to slit my throat.

After that I quit the drugs because I didn t even like them. They didn t make me feel better, they made me feel stupid and weird. I left that life and those nasty people behind me. I got on with my life, went to college, got married, and had a baby.

But even to this day, I harbor so much bitterness and resentment towards that guy. My year with the junkie was positively the worst year of my life. My self-esteem was the lowest it had ever been, and I actually wanted to die. My health was terrible, I was skin and bones and could not even swallow food and suffered chronic bronchitis.

This is what happens when you get involved with a junkie. They are living in hell and they pull you down into hell with them. Hence the hate.

You do not have to deal with drug addicts directly to be affected by their behavior. They are just so annoying that they irritate people the wrong way. It was due to having the numbing injection and it touched my nerve. extremely painful!
I have been holding off going for a long time!

I moved to Canada and have a new dentist and decided to go for a checkup because of the increasing pain in my teeth.
To my horror, they explained i needed a whopping 13 small fillings, a root canal and both my wisdom teeth taking out.
My teeth are quite white, and look really healthy so i never thought it was going to be as bad as that!

So i have decided to go for it. i am seriously terrified and nauseous whenever i think about it.
My dentist is been very understanding and offered lots of sedative drugs so i am not so scared of the injection etc.

Anybody ever had a root canal? How painful was it and has anybody ever had the sedative drugs available. did they help at all.
Any encouraging words to help my fears.

Thanks in advance?

Around the World Travel – Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) #travel #net

#around the world travel
#

‘Around the World Travel’ means trips where you buy a ticket (or a set of tickets) that allow you to make multiple stops and spend virtually as long as you wish at each place, flying either literally Around the World or around a part of the world (e.g. Circle Pacific or Circle South America). We specialize in designing these trips at prices you won’t believe. You tell us all the places you want to visit, and we find the lowest fare!

Not at all – you fly on regular scheduled flights of reputable US and international carriers with confirmed reservations. Seat reservations, frequent flyer mileage, special meals etc. are handled normally as per each carrier’s policies. Our prices are much lower simply because we are experts in navigating through the airfare ‘jungle’ – especially when it comes to fares that are not published (e.g. consolidator fares, bulk fares etc). Besides, the volume of our business allows us access to lower fares, which we then pass on to the benefit of our clients.

You can fly virtually wherever you wish; some regions are more expensive than others (e.g. Combining Africa with Asia or Latin America with Asia is generally more expensive than, say, Europe and Asia). Within some regions (e.g. South America, Australia) you can buy an air pass to supplement your around-the-world ticket. Other areas (e.g. Europe) are more convenient to discover overland, by using a rail pass for instance. Your travel consultant will be glad to help you plan any aspect of your trip.

You can also fly in any particular sequence of destinations that you wish, though it is usually most economical to follow a particular global direction (e.g. East to West or West to East).

Most tickets sold by us are valid for a total duration of six months to one year. However, there are exceptions and tickets could be valid for as short as 30 days or as long as 18 months. The validity depends upon a number of factors such as the type of fare paid, the routing, the airline selected etc. We can tailor most tickets to suit the validity that you need, if you advise your travel consultant of such special requirements. Otherwise, we will always quote the lowest possible fare for the itinerary you selected. Please ask your consultant if you have any doubts or questions.

Changes to your tickets are best made prior to their being issued – that is when they are easiest and least expensive to modify. All changes are completely free of charge prior to your trip being confirmed. Once it is confirmed and prior to tickets being issued, changes can be made for a nominal fee of $50; please note that your fare may also go up or down depending on the change (i.e. new flight dates, routing etc.).

Once tickets have been issued, any change in the flight routing would result in a penalty. The old ticket has to be refunded and exchanged with a new ticket for the revised routing; there is usually a significant cost for doing this.

Changes in flight dates (without changing the routing) are much easier and often free of charge, except the first flight (from your departure city to your first international destination) which can be changed only by paying a penalty. After the first flight, changes to flight dates are either free of charge or incur a fee, depending upon the type of ticket, fare paid etc. An around-the-world or circle-pacific trip usually consists of multiple tickets, and each ticket may have different rules for flight changes. If in doubt, please ask your travel consultant who will be happy to clarify the rules associated with each ticket on your itinerary.

Make a list of places that you feel you must visit and another list of places that you would like to visit but which are not essential (i.e. sort your destinations according to priority). Decide on a budget for the trip and approximately how much you want to spend for the airfare. Complete our online inquiry form for a free quote and then work with your travel consultant to select the best trip that fits your needs and budget.

Important: Please do not book accommodations or tours until your air reservations have been confirmed. Advise your consultant of any dates that are important for you (e.g. you must be in Sydney to see X’Mas trees on Bondi beach) and your flights will be booked with that in mind.

Once you have decided on your travel route and dates of travel, it is always a good idea to book your trip without delay. Booking early is also crucial when your trip includes busy travel periods (e.g. X’Mas / New Year or the summer months when many Americans and Europeans take their annual vacations), as the most economical airline seats tend to get sold out very quickly during these periods. Most Around the World trips have an advance purchase requirement from anywhere between 21 – 30 days. In some cases it may be possible to book a trip earlier than the 21-30 day limit, but this would incur surcharges and / or rush fees.

Refund rules and procedures vary with each airline, type of ticket, fare paid etc. Only wholly unused tickets can be refunded – partially unused tickets have no refund value. Once we receive the unused tickets from you, we submit these to the airline along with a refund application. Processing and transit times through various channels differ, but generally the shortest time for obtaining a refund is about 2 months and, in some cases, it can take as long as 6 months.

World Travellers’ Club is always available to help you in any way we can. Should you run into any difficulties or problems, please feel free to contact us for assistance. E-Mail is usually the best way of doing so, but you can of course also call us or send us a fax message (least reliable!). We also have a network of associate offices in most major cities throughout the world, and can draw upon their resources if need be.

Should I reconfirm my flights, hotel or car reservation?

Travelers are advised to contact the airline, hotel or car rental company at least 72 hours prior to departure.

At the time of reservation, ABS Travel provides your contact information along with the form of payment, to the companies on which you hold a confirmed reservation, and these companies may not be able to get a hold of you in the event of itinerary, hotel or car changes.

This is specially important, when traveling on different airlines to reach your destination, or returning home.

What happens if the airline has changed my flights?

If the airline changed or cancelled your flights, the airline must assist you. ABS Travel did not change the flights. The airline did, thus the airline must fix your itinerary and/or ongoing travel. The airline has your contact information such as your telephone number and email address. This contact information was forwarded to the airline at the time of the reservation. Never let yourself be misled by airline employees into believing that ABS Travel is the entity that needs to fix the flights that were changed by the airline!

Frequently Asked Questions on Airline Tickets, FAQ, Buy Air Ticket #hotel

#find plane tickets
#

Why can’t I find available flights online?

There are several reasons: The flights may be sold out. The schedule may require more than one airline to connect and booking engine may not recognize this. The flight schedule may require more than 2-3 segments each way and booking engine cannot process. If you do not find available space for the requested fare, a request may be made by contact us form or by telephone to a live agent.

When looking for low prices airfare online, what are the things to watch out for?

One of the most important things to remember when searching for online airfares is that discounted tickets will most likely have restrictions placed on them. These restrictions may include no refund clauses if you miss your flight, limitations on the times you can leave and return, and other restrictions. Be sure that you understand any restrictions prior to making your purchase.

When I purchase an airline ticket online, will I be able to make changes to my reservations if I need to?

Making Changes depends on the provider of the tickets, and on what restrictions they have placed on the sales. In some cases, discounted air tickets cannot be changes without penalty. In some cases the tickets are non-refundable if you miss the flight or need to change the arrangements.

When purchasing tickets online, can I have the tickets sent to me at work?

When you order airline tickets online and pay by credit card, you will usually be required to have the tickets sent to the same address as your credit card statements are sent to. This protects the seller from fraudulent orders using stolen credit cards.

Should I confirm my air travel arrangement?

Yes, you should always confirm your air travel reservations with the air carrier a couple of days after you made them, and again a couple of days prior to departure.

How do I get my tickets?

Our Partners send all tickets by DHL, FedEx or Airborne Express. Tickets are sent out as soon as payment has been received and processed. If you have more questions about your tickets, please use the contact us. To track your shipment or to request a tracking number please go to our shipping page.

How is it possible to get such low fares?

our Partners being high volume producer for numerous international airlines, has the power to negotiate bulk rates and great discounts to all of the world’s destinations. Airlines use consolidators to move market share and fill low yield seats in various market sectors. Consolidators do not pre-purchase seats and then unload them at the last minute, as commonly believed. Rather, rates are negotiated and the seat inventory is controlled by the airlines involved. Tickets sp;d by our partners allow the same choice of flight, schedule and seating preference as with other normal and higher airfares. Differences between normal and negotiated airfares come in the form of change penalties and refund policy. Please make sure to check these with your agent, as all airlines have different policies.

What is an airfare consolidator or wholesaler?

A traditional consolidator represents the airline in local markets, selling tickets only to other retail agencies. Our Partners on the other hand sells directly to you, the public, avoiding the middleman and saving you money.

Are consolidated fares more restricted than standard fares?

Actually this is a widely held misconception. The rules are very similar with the only difference being in the amount refunded in cases of cancellation. Certain tickets are completely non-refundable or changeable. Rules vary per airline, and it is important to get these details from your agent before purchasing your tickets

What form of payments are accepted?

Following forms of payments are accepted

  • All Major Credit Cards.
  • Banker’s Checks
  • Wire Transfers

Can an Airline refuse to board me if I have a valid ticket?

  • Failing to present proper I.D. passport or other necessary governmental paperwork to complete your trip.
  • The name on your ticket doesn’t match the name on your I.D.
  • Refusing to allow a search of your luggage or your person.
  • Behaving in an abusive, disorderly or violent manner.
  • Being under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
  • Refusing to cooperate with any reasonable request made by security or Airline personnel.
