Kauai is a place for quiet relaxation – and a place of breathtakingly beautiful scenery! Although Kauai is smaller in size than the other three main islands, it holds its own place of prominence with its stunningly beautiful landscapes and its quiet ‘hideaway’ beaches.
This island’s north shore is heavenly, and many movies have been filmed here – including parts of Jurassic Park, the classic movie South Pacific and some scenery shots from the original Fantasy Island. Its north shore is the home of the legendary Bali Hai, and is one of the most enchanting areas of the Hawaiian Islands. Here, at the end of your north shore drive, you will also find the hidden famous Na Pali Cliffs (to be visited only by boat or helicopter, however, serious hikers can also experience this location). You can see these majestic cliffs at the end of the north shore road by walking out to the beach (Ke’e Beach), turning right and walking a few hundred yards -then turn around and you’ll have a striking view of these cliffs. Watching the sunset from this isolated beach is an experience of a lifetime!
The quaint Kapaa and Lihue area is on Kauai’s lower east shore and offers peaceful tropical charm. This area is where Elvis’ wedding was filmed in the movie Blue Hawaii, and is home of two of Kauai’s most popular waterfalls. The beachfront resorts and oceanside hotels in this area are tranquil tropical getaways and are great locations for romantic Kauai honeymoons, weddings, and vacations. This area has much less rainfall than Kauai’s north shore – and many choose this area for their hotel/resort stay for that reason. Centrally located – Kapaa offers easy access to west Kauai – which is home of the majestic and colorful Waimea Canyon (nicknamed “The Grand Canyon of the Pacific” by Mark Twain), as well as convenient access to Kauai’s north shore, mentioned above.
Although there is not as much to do on this island as on some of the other islands, Kauai will not disappoint – but will lure you to return.
Our All Inclusive Kauai Vacation Packages will allow you to experience all of the above – with convenience and economy!
OAHU – WAIKIKI
The Island of Oahu is the most visited of all the Hawaiian Islands. Oahu is the island where both Waikiki Beach and Honolulu are located. Waikiki Beach, often referred to as the world’s most popular beach, is three miles from Honolulu. Honolulu, Hawaii’s state capitol offers an array of historical and cultural interests, including one of the worlds’ best Chinatowns and is the home of America’s only Royal Palace. Oahu is also home of Pearl Harbor and the Arizona Memorial, and there’s great whale watching on this island from December to Mid-April.
Waikiki uniquely offers both breathtaking beach scenery and areas of quiet tropical nature and historical charm. It also offers an endless variety of fun and exciting things to do! Waikiki features both casual and upscale beachside restaurants, world-class entertainment and shopping – along with quiet moonlit walks on the beach and peaceful strolls among tropical vegetation and banyan trees. This island offers an abundance of activities – you name it – Oahu has it! The only thing Oahu lacks is an active volcano and we offer one-day tours to the volcano fields to fulfill this. Waikiki’s weather is perfect and its sunsets are some of the worlds’ best!
Oahu is considered one of Hawaii’s most beautiful islands – if not the most beautiful! That’s why almost all movies and TV series about Hawaii are filmed on Oahu; including Jurassic Park, Blue Hawaii, Blue Crush, From Here to Eternity, Pearl Harbor, Hawaii-Five-O, Magnum PI, North Shore, Lost, and Fantasy Island. Experts say it’s the breathtakingly beautiful landscape that drastically changes every few miles when exploring this island – that qualifies Oahu for first place in beauty among the Hawaiian Islands! Countless turquoise beaches – each with its own beautiful uniqueness, majestic sculpted emerald mountains, tropical rainforests, waterfalls, the stunning remote Tahiti-like northeast coast, the lunar-like area drive on eastern Oahu, the world famous north shore surfing beaches and restaurants featuring both international and local cuisines make Oahu a place that is unforgettable, and one that you will long to return to! Waikiki – Oahu is also the perfect destination for a Hawaii Wedding and/or Honeymoon.
Our All Inclusive Waikiki Vacation Packages offer a wide variety of Waikiki beachfront resorts and close-to-beach hotels (ranging from economically Moderate to Ultra-Deluxe Beachside Resorts), and will enable you to conveniently and economically experience this awesome island. Come see Oahu for yourself. it will fulfill your deepest Hawaii dreams!
“Let Us Help Make Your Dreams Come True In Blue Hawaii”
Maui is Hawaii’s second most popular island and offers both resort relaxation and tropical exploration. West Maui offers world-class beach resorts, and East Maui features some of Hawaii’s most beautiful rainforests. West Maui’s Kaanapali Beach is the island’s most popular resort area and is a very short distance from historical Lahaina. Lahaina is an extremely fun place! It offers great shopping in quaint oceanfront buildings, delightful waterfront restaurants with delicious menus, plus it’s a place known for its colorful historic past. Lahaina was once the whaling capitol of the Pacific and in the 1800’s its harbor had as many as 500 whaling ships anchored offshore at the same time. The historical “situations” which took place between the sailors, the local Hawaiians, and the missionaries to Maui are portrayed in James Michener’s novel, “Hawaii.”
Maui’s Kaanapali Beach is simply. beautiful. From Kaanapali’s golden sand beach one can see other Hawaiian Islands nearby, resting peacefully in the turquoise blue waters laden with sailboats. Kaanapali’s oceanfront beach resorts and oceanside hotels offer a perfect location for romantic Maui honeymoons and vacations. Kaanapali’s weather is great and its sunsets are spectacular! Nearby Kapalua is an excellent Maui beach wedding location and a great place for beachside vow renewals. An abundance of water activities await you in Maui, including whale watching from December to Mid-April.
East Maui is the home of lush tropical rainforests alive with fragrant island flowers, trees ripe with fruit, exotic birds and an abundance of accessible waterfalls. The Road to Hana drive (or tour) offers breathtaking mountain-to-ocean panoramas around every turn – a journey one never forgets! This journey leads to sleepy Hana at the isolated far west-end of the island. Hana is a great place to visit – but an out-of-the way place to stay, as it is more than a two-hour winding drive to get to where most conveniences are located, and almost a four-hour drive to Lahaina – the place-to-be in Maui. The Wailea resort area in southwest Maui is a good – but very costly location and an hour-and-a-half drive from Lahaina.
All activities and locations mentioned above, along with many others, can be experienced with our All Inclusive Maui Vacation Packages.
This island is known as the Big Island – simply because it’s Hawaii’s biggest island. However, some also call this island “Hawaii.” This island was called Hawaii when ruled by King Kamehameha, who in 1810 conquered all of the islands, which now make up the chain of islands called Hawaii, and renamed them collectively “Hawaii.” Today, each island (Oahu, Maui, Kauai, the Big Island, along with other smaller islands) are counties which comprise the chain of islands (and state) called Hawaii.
The Big Island is mainly known for its active volcanoes and volcano fields. No other Hawaiian Island has an active volcano – however, all do have either extinct or dormant volcanoes. This island also features lovely black sand beaches, rocky lava coastlines, a beautiful tropical rainforest and the spectacular waterfalls: Rainbow Falls and Akaka Falls. It is the home of a few white sand beaches, but most are rocky lava beaches. All of the above can be seen with a One-Day Excursion from Waikiki – Oahu.
The gold coast village of Kona, on the Big Island’s west coast, has year-round sunshine – unlike Hilo village on the east coast, and Kona’s beachside resorts and hotels are perfect for romantic honeymoons and vacations. Kona’s sunsets are remarkable! Kona is the perfect base location to experience the diversity of this island, and all of this can be discovered with our All Inclusive Hawaii Vacation Package.
The Big Island of Hawaii is truly a place to sample all of the highlights offered by the Hawaiian Islands.
