Tuition – Finances #northwestern #university #tuition

Tuition Finances

*1 Cost per year
*2 Estimated cost per year for textbooks/materials
NOTE: All fees quoted are in U.S. dollars and subject to increase as necessary.

Apply Now – Fellowship Tuition Reduction

The above-quoted rate of tuition ($2,850.00) for the J.D. degree program shall be available to those who submit an application for enrollment on or before June 30, 2017 and complete the enrollment process within 30 days from the date of enrollment approval.

The current rate of tuition is a reduction from a yearly rate of $3,650.00. The reduction in tuition, which is now available, was initiated for new enrollees in celebration of the granting of a 5-year renewal of the School’s Juris Doctor degree granting authority by the Committee of Bar Examiners of the State Bar of California upon the School’s prior review, an important achievement in that a 5-year extension is the maximum allowed by law. The accomplishment followed a routine process that involved verification of the School’s compliance with standards related to integrity, financial stability, assessment of student achievement, educational quality and much more. A decision as to whether or not to continue the reduction in tuition, which has continued since then, will be made at the end of the month.

For those who enroll now, the tuition rate will be “locked-in” at the reduced rate on the date of enrollment and will remain at that rate for the entire length of the program, until degree completion, if completed on schedule.

This tuition reduction will not be available forever. It will be continued forward for an indefinite period of time so long as it is sustainable. The school may or may not, in its discretion, choose to continue the offer of reduced tuition to those who apply after the end of the month, or to offer it again at any time in the future.

Top Quality and Value

“I’m writing to convey how positive my experience has been at NWCU and how impressed I am with the overall organization and structure of the program.

“I was enrolled at another online law school for a short time, but was dissatisfied with their program and decided to discontinue my studies there. My purpose in writing to you today is to convey how delighted I am with NWCU School of Law. The office personnel are courteous, knowledgeable, and responsive; the law study program is well structured; the educational goals are clearly established; and the professor-led online discussions are enjoyable and helpful, in addition to being oriented toward program objectives.

“As a professional educator, I appreciate the great deal of attention and thought invested in creating learning experiences for students that will facilitate their success. I’m very much looking forward to the next four years.” – Tom S. Ed.D. Superintendent of Schools

“I graduated from NWCU and only 10 months later was employed as a Deputy District Attorney. Please let me take this opportunity to tell you that your program is great. It worked extremely well for me and gave me the opportunity to pursue my goals in a manner I enjoyed.” – Paula T.

“I was proud to tell the representative from the State Bar that I had graduated from NWCU when I was sworn in last week. I thank you all at the school. I could not have done it without you.” – Mark H.

“I had a goal to become a lawyer and be debt free. NWCU helped me make my dream come true.” – Anna G.

“I’ve been with NWCU as a student for 2 years now. I am a University Professor and hold high standards for education, professor communication and administrative support. NWCU Professors are easily accessible and are clear in their responses. There is always guidance from them when needed or requested. If you are a directed learner, you may employ your own learning strategy as well and find success and support. Also, the staff members in the front office are incredibly accessible and the administrators are very helpful. Overall I am very satisfied. Tuition is a bargain and the professor guidance and legal education support are very impressive.” – R.H. Ph.D.

“NWCU is not first-rate because it is old; it is old because it is first-rate.” – Dean Clancey

Financial Assistance

The school will accept tuition paid in twelve (12) equal monthly installments of $237.50. Student loans and other financial aid are not available.

Transfer Policy

Northwestern California University awards transfer credit for courses completed at U.S. law schools which are approved by the American Bar Association, or which are accredited by or registered with the State Bar of California, provided that the credits to be transferred are appropriate to the law degree program at Northwestern California University.

Refund Policy

The student shall be refunded all tuition paid by the student upon written application for cancellation of an enrollment agreement delivered to the school either in person or by mail within eight business days after the initial coursework is sent.

A later cancellation by a student who has completed 60 percent or less of the course of instruction shall result in a prorated refund of tuition based upon the length of time that the student has been in the program. This shall occur according to the below stated prescribed time for duration of study.

Attendance time is deemed as the time elapsed between date of enrollment and the date which the student formally terminated his or her enrollment.

The duration of the course for the above purpose, notwithstanding the fact that different completion times do occur, shall be construed in accordance with the following:

How Much Will an Online MBA Cost? #mba #online #tuition

How Much Does an Online MBA Cost?

Learn about online MBA degree programs and find out how much an online MBA may cost.

There s no doubt that getting your online MBA is an investment in both time and money. However, it may not be as expensive as you think.

Tuition for online MBA programs varies greatly depending on whether you re attending a public or private institution, how well known the school and business programs are and what type of online MBA program you ve chosen.

Keep in mind that there are also many financing options available to help defray the costs of your education.

Regional vs. AACSB Accredited Online MBA Programs

School and program accreditation is important for many reasons. First, it ensures that schools meet certain standards and that your education will be of high quality. You also generally need to go to an accredited college or university to qualify for financial aid.

But there are other things to consider as well:

  • If you change schools, your credits may not transfer if your first school wasn t accredited. You ll spend more time and money if you need to take courses again.
  • Some employers prefer to hire candidates who have a degree from an accredited school.

There are two main types of accreditation: Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) accreditation and regional accreditation.

Although regional accreditation might sound less important, it s actually the gold standard for schools and programs. If you need to know whether a school you re considering is regionally accredited, you can check the U.S. Department of Education website, which has a list of regional accrediting agencies.

A regionally accredited school meets the standards of one of the following accrediting bodies:

  • Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools
  • New England Association of Schools and Colleges
  • North Central Association of Colleges and Schools
  • Northwest Association of Schools and of Colleges and Universities
  • Southern Association of Colleges and Schools
  • Western Association of Schools and Colleges

AACSB accreditation represents the highest standard of achievement for business schools worldwide. Fewer than 5 percent of the world s 13,000 business programs have earned AACSB Accreditation.

There are other accrediting bodies as well, such as the Accreditation Council for Business Schools Programs (ACBSP).

Learn more about accreditation by visiting our business school accreditation page .

Public vs. Private Online MBA Costs

Among AACSB-accredited distance learning programs, University of Massachusetts Amherst Online MBA will cost you $32,175, James Madison University s MBA is $37,200 ($775 per credit x 48 credits), and Duke University s program is priced at $122,500. (These figures are for tuition only; other fees may be required or suggested.)

Public universities offering AACSB-accredited distance learning programs vary greatly as far as tuition: in-state residents can pay as little as $13,253 at Southeast Missouri State University, $21,096 for Washington State University s online MBA, or $35,140 for Ohio University s online MBA program.

Financial Aid Options

The federal government enables students enrolled in online degree programs to become eligible for federal financial aid programs. As long as you are enrolled in a degree-granting program, such as an MBA, you can apply for the same financial aid programs as traditional classroom students. Private loans, scholarships and grants are also available to help you finance your online education. Learn more about your financial aid options by visiting our Financial Aid Resource Center .
