Las Vegas gunman’s girlfriend added to travel watch list: Officials

Las vegas travelPlay

The companion of the Las Vegas shooter, Stephen Paddock, has been put on a U.S. government watch list as the FBI continues to press her for information about the worst mass shooting in modern American history, federal law enforcement officials told ABC News.

Marilou Danley has been designated a Transportation Security Administration selectee, meaning authorities will be notified if she attempts to board any commercial flight.

The travel designation will require her to undergo extra screening and will notify authorities if she tries to leave the country on a commercial flight, two law enforcement sources told ABC News.

At this stage of the investigation, officials believe that Danley played no part in — and had no knowledge of — her now deceased boyfriend’s plan to open fire on concertgoers from the Mandalay Bay hotel last week, killing 58 people and injuring more than 500 others before killing himself.

On Friday, Matthew Lombard, her attorney, told reporters that she continues to cooperate with authorities.

Las vegas travel

Investigators believe that Danley’s relationship with Paddock changed over time, evolving from intimate companion, authorities said, to more of a caretaker for him.

“I knew Stephen Paddock as a kind, caring, quiet man,” Danley said in a statement read by her attorney last week. “I loved him and hoped for a quiet future together with him.”

She added that she feared, when Paddock bought her a plane ticket to the Philippines and wired her a significant sum of money, that it “was a way of breaking up” with her.

The travel designation, secondary security screening selectee, will appear on her boarding pass at the airport and indicates authorities want to be alerted if Danley, a Philippine native who travels under an Australian passport, makes any effort to travel out of the region or out of the country on a commercial flight.

The designation also gives TSA officers the authority to more aggressively search her luggage.

Officials with the Department of Homeland Security did not respond Monday to questions about Danley’s travel status.

The best in the country. I’ve been to Orlando Gaydayz, White Party Miami, White Party PS, Winter Festival, Barcelona Circuit, Sydney Mardy Gras, Mykonos and all I can say is LV Matinee is simply unique. The djs are always what makes the difference. Not a moment is lost energy here. Venues are always of high class quality, great sound system, clean and convenient access from the host hotel.

What a total joke and waste of money. Went last year and was not for spending $229 for VIP ticket. This year I thought might as well get a VIP ticket because last year was a huge crowded room with lines for the restroom and waits for watered-down drinks that were overpriced . Not sure who anybody’s fooling with this event but two years in a row it sucked. Do yourself a favor if you want to see a porn star this badly rent a fucking movie.

31 Totally Free Things to do in Las Vegas, Travel Leisure,

31 Free Things to Do in Las Vegas

When you’re a Las Vegas local, the clanging of slot machines in the McCarran Airport arrivals area signals you’re home, but for everyone else it’s a reminder that the city is engineered to liberate you from your dollars from the moment you land. Surprisingly, though, there are plenty of ways to entertain yourself free-of-charge in Las Vegas. Keep this list of free vegas attractions handy: It’s great for both visitors who come on a budget and those who suddenly find their credit lines tapped out.

Join the Circus

1. You can’t actually join Cirque du Soleil—which currently has a mind-bending eight resident shows on the Strip—unless you can turn yourself into a pretzel or swing from vertiginous heights aided only by a few pieces of silk. But beginning in late August, the KA Theatre in MGM Grand opens its doors to the public every Tuesday between 11 a.m and 11:30 a.m. for the ultimate insider tour of the mechanics of this $165 million production.

2. The world’s largest permanent circus can be found at Circus-Circus. Rides aren’t cheap, but you can watch death-defying stunts by unicyclists and acrobats high above the casino floor at no charge every half hour.

3. On weekends starting at 7 p.m., join the Carnival-like parade of dancers and acrobats in fabulous costumes that dance down the Rio’s main course hourly during the Masquerade in the Sky at Rio.

Look at Other People’s Money

4. As you might expect, the largest gold nugget in the world is right here in Las Vegas—at The Golden Nugget. Found in Australia in 1980 and sold to the casino for more than a million dollars, the 61-pound “Hand of Faith” can be found right by the Gold Tower hotel lobby.

Eat Chocolate—So Much Chocolate

5. Local chocolatier Ethel M sits right in one of the largest botanical cactus gardens in the world, and you can take factory tours (free samples!) after a stroll of the unusual gardens. Bonus: In November, they string the cactus with a half-million holiday lights, which stay up until New Year’s Day.

6. Don’t want to leave the strip? Don’t miss M the eight light columns at check-in with constantly changing videos; and a residency space right on the mezzanine level of the hotel.

12. P3 Studio has hosted artists from Fab 5 Freddy to Shelter Serra, who work there for several weeks; passersby can wander in and often take part in an interactive art piece.

13. At Wynn Las Vegas, look for the 7-foot-tall, 2,000-pound Popeye sculpture by Jeff Koons right on the shopping esplanade that Steve Wynn purchased for $28 million, and the giant, mirror-polished stainless steel Tulips (Jeff Koons, $34 million) that sits outside the Wynn Theater.

Indulge Your Secret Pawn Star Fandom

14. Love Pawn Stars? Line up early to get a look inside the real Gold and Silver Pawn Shop in Downtown Vegas.

15. This fall, Rick Harrison opens a kingdom for his devoted followers in the form of Pawn Plaza, a giant shopping center made out of shipping containers with retail and restaurant tenants like a barbecue joint, tavern, Italian ice place, and a poutinerie. New residents just announced for the opening: Inna Gadda di Pizza and Pawn Donut & Coffee.

Get a Side of Free Pancakes with Your Wedding

16. You could visit one of the many small wedding chapels around Downtown Las Vegas, or you could hold your dream nuptials at Denny’s, on Fremont Street. Splurge for the $95 wedding in the wedding chapel the around-the-clock pancake house has conveniently installed (it comes with a cake made of pancakes), or just gawk at it with your family between the hours of 4 p.m. and 10 p.m., when kids eat free.

Drink for Free

17. Kidding—you’ll never drink for free in Las Vegas, despite the fact that drinks are complimentary on most casino floors. (Depending on how you’re doing at the tables, you either just spent $1000 for a gin and tonic, or you got your drink free and a losing stranger subsidized it.) The best way to drink for (nearly) free is to play the slots at older downtown casinos, such as El Cortez, Golden Nugget and The D, where the play amounts are lower. (Still, make sure you tip, or your server will mysteriously become unavailable.)

Visit the Strip’s Famous Soothsayer

18. The 9-foot-tall chrome Lucky Cat at the Cosmopolitan dispenses fortunes free to those who put their hand on his paw. They vary from fortune cookie messages to free drinks and room nights.

Pretend There’s no Drought in Nevada

19. You’ll inevitably end up at the Fountains of Bellagio, which recently added a three-song electronic medley by Tiesto to its lineup of Celine Dion, Andrea Bocelli and Tony Bennett.

20. But some of the best gawking in Las Vegas happens inside the Bellagio’s 14,000-square-foot, skylit conservatory, where 120 horticulturalists, engineers and designers create incredible displays for each season, plus Chinese New Year, with more than 10,000 flowers, which are switched out every two weeks.

21. Similarly, the waterfall atrium at Palazzo, with a two-floor waterfall and seasonal flowers, is a great place to experience imagineered nature, at the entrance of the Grand Canal Shoppes.

22. and 23. Inside the Forum Shops at Caesars, the newly revamped Fall of Atlantis show’s giant talking statues and pyrotechnics are fun to watch, but the nearby 50,000-gallon aquarium is even better. Enjoy this water-tainment without guilt: Vegas resorts account for just seven percent of the Las Vegas Valley’s water use: overall, some 80 percent of the Strip’s water is returned to Lake Mead.

Stroll the Strip

24. Starting next year, when The Park and other urban oases open on the Strip, it will become one of the best pedestrian zones in the world. Still, there’s plenty to do for free on Las Vegas Boulevard. The open-air Grand Bazaar Shops has opened across the street from Bellagio, mashing up the outdoor dining and retail concepts from Seattle to Marrakesh.

25. Don’t miss the massive new Swarovski Starburst, a 14-foot LED-lit crystal starburst that lights up the shops at night.

26. Nearby you can stroll along the new LINQ entertainment corridor, which runs perpendicular to the Strip, all the way to the High Roller.

27. Don’t miss The Polaroid Fotobar, one of the best free hidden gems in Las Vegas—a museum open until 2 a.m. on the weekends, and midnight on other days, that showcases great work of photographers working in the format.

28. On the south end of the Strip, the Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas sign, a symbol of excess once perched on a perilous median, is now solar powered and has plenty of convenient parking.

29. There’s the spewing volcano in front of the Mirage—now with flame shooters, a soundtrack, and water and lighting effects. It starts each night at 5 p.m., erupting every 30 minutes until 11 p.m.

…and Head Downtown

30. Check out the Downtown Container Park, a retail, dining and play park made entirely of shipping containers (look for the 55-foot-tall fire breathing praying mantis outside). Find the free entertainment calendar, including a new outdoor family movie series, on the park’s website.

31. Make sure you stay until it’s dark to do a self-guided tour of the Fremont East Entertainment District, whose refurbished vintage neon lights include the famous horseback rider from the Hacienda Hotel, a red slipper and a martini glass—and the newest addition: a new neon sign of a 30-foot-tall Pabst Blue Ribbon.

    Las Vegas Travel Tips

    Andrew Zarivny/Shutterstock

    Keep in Mind.

    • Prepare for desert weather Vegas can get extremely hot during the day, but nighttime breezes (and casinos’ air conditioning) can be pretty chilly. Be sure to bring a jacket.
    • The house always wins No matter how well your winning streak is going, it’s bound to come to an end at some point. Remain both optimistic and realistic.
    • Bring the kids Before you scoff at the thought of a family trip to Vegas, bear in mind that many of the casinos have kid-friendly attractions (like aquariums ).

Sin City, America’s Playground, the Entertainment Capital of the World. all worthy names for this Nevada hotspot. Think of Vegas as a theme park rather than a city it can awe as much as it can overwhelm, and that’s part of the appeal. This is a city where inhibitions are not welcome: Every night, Las Vegas draws pleasuremongers to the brightly lit Strip like moths to a flame. While you may not want to go as far as to re-enact “The Hangover,” you certainly don’t want to leave without experiencing a bit of “Viva Las Vegas.” Just remember: What happens here, stays here.

But gone are the days when Sin City appealed only to bachelors and brutes. Today, Las Vegas as a destination is just as malleable as it is ostentatious in that you can mold it into any type of vacation you like. You can opt for the traditional high-roller getaway complete with all-nighters at the blackjack table or PURE Nightclub. Or you can take a different approach to Sin City and indulge in its luxury spas, high-end shopping and gourmet restaurants. Las Vegas also makes a great jumping-off point for outdoor activities, such as hiking in Red Rock Canyon or visiting the Hoover Dam. And though you may not believe it, this city even has attractions for kids: Underage travelers will get a kick out of a Cirque du Soleil performance, the Bellagio Fountain show and the Neon Museum .

How To Save Money in Las Vegas

    • Do your research There’s no shortage of online deals on flights and hotel rooms, so be diligent about making travel plans and save the spontaneity for after you’ve checked in.
    • Ditch the car Traffic on the Strip can be mind-boggling; you’ll be better off relying on public transportation and your own two feet. Note: If you’re cabbing into the city from the airport, make sure to tell your driver to take Swenson Street it’s cheaper than using the airport tunnel.
    • Cut yourself off Winning feels amazing, but there comes a point when the tables start to turn. Decide how much you’re willing to spend at the casinos before you arrive in Vegas, and make sure to stop yourself before Lady Luck robs you blind.

    Las Vegas Culture Customs

People tend to visit Las Vegas to release their inhibitions, win (or, most likely, lose) their money and sample the carefree life. It’s a place for escapists, promising to keep your vacation secrets (remember, what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas). Be prepared for nonstop entertainment and pure, American-style debauchery.

But that doesn’t mean you can go buck-wild and get away with it. Hotels. casinos, restaurants and clubs will expect you to behave appropriately, and those who don’t follow the rules won’t be let off easy. If you’re smart and exercise common sense, your stay in Las Vegas should remain safe and enjoyable. As far as safety is concerned, you should take some extra precautions when on the Strip or in a casino. Cash and alcohol run wild, often placing travelers in compromising situations. Don’t overindulge in alcohol, and keep your winnings to yourself to avoid attracting unwanted attention. When on the Strip, never walk alone in the evenings, be mindful of the busy road and follow all street signals and applicable laws.

You should also note that many establishments (including high-end restaurants and nightclubs) enforce dress codes that may require you to wear semi-formal attire. Be sure to check before you plan your outfit for the evening.

Believe it or not, there is more to this town than bustling casino floors and questionable decision-making: Las Vegas caters to a wide variety of travel types with its host of fine dining establishments, world-renowned entertainment and even family-friendly activities. While you’re here, take some time away from the casino floor to get to know the other sides of America’s Playground learn about its history at the Neon Museum. enjoy its surroundings at Red Rock Canyon or try a different type of play at the casinos’ aquariums, zoos and amusement parks.

    Las Vegas Dining

One thing’s for sure: There’s no shortage of choices in Las Vegas when it comes to finding something to eat. You’ll find everything from high-end French fare to budget-friendly burgers jockeying for your taste buds’ approval. The celebrity chef craze hit Las Vegas by storm, with some of the world’s most famous chefs including Wolfgang Puck and Emeril Lagasse establishing kitchens in Sin City. As a result, the city boasts some of the best dining in the United States; according to the tourism board. Las Vegas is “the biggest thing to happen to food since salt.” What’s more, Las Vegas boasts more master sommeliers than Los Angeles and New York City combined, ensuring that whatever meal you choose will be paired with the perfect libation.

Many of the big-name restaurants along the Strip come attached to high price tags, but you don’t need to spend a fortune to eat well here. Sin City caters to foodies of all budgets with restaurants offering menu items at a variety of prices. This city is also king of the all-you-can-eat buffet, with food lines featuring everything from pizza and Chinese to crab legs and gluten-free cuisine. Try the Wicked Spoon at The Cosmopolitan for a culinary tour of Asia, or head to the buffet at the Bellagio for evening caviar service. Whatever you’re craving, you’re sure to find it at one of the buffets along the Strip, so come hungry.

    Thomas Loof

Forget, for a moment, about all the money you could win (or lose) at the casinos in Las Vegas, or the serious coin that can be dropped in the high-end shops, celebrity-chef eateries, and penthouse suites along the Strip. The primary industry of Las Vegas is sensory overload. When you travel to Las Vegas, the lights, the sounds, and the exotic parade of people, all coming to soak up the vibes of legendary Sin City, are a feast all their own. But this desert city, which blossomed with the construction of the nearby Hoover Dam, also has plenty of history (here, Elvis impersonators also count as history) as well as bargains, especially if you wander off the Strip and into the Fremont Street Experience in the old downtown.

Things Not To Miss in Las Vegas

    • Taking in a show, such as the ongoing selection of Cirque de Soleil productions

    • Visiting the Bellagio Fountains

    • Walking the Strip

    • Trying one of the buffets, which range from cheap eats to high-end feasts

    • Checking out the Fremont Street Experience

When To Go to Las Vegas

Some would say that the best time to visit Las Vegas is whenever you have the most money to lose. Short of that, weather is not usually an issue for Las Vegas travel – after all, many people spend most of their time inside windowless casinos.

Winter is a great time to visit Las Vegas for mild weather (though the nights get chilly) and the fewest crowds. Summer gets hot, with highs of over 100 degrees during the day, but it’s a dry heat. Plus, if you want to take part in the hotels’ pool scenes, you’ll want to come during summer, as some of the big pools at least partially close from late fall until spring.

    DON’T MISS

A free look at the city’s secret masterpiece: walk into the Tower Suite VIP check-in room at the Wynn Las Vegas to see one of only four Rembrandt self-portraits in a private collection in the world. Self Portrait with Shaded Eyes was painted in 1634, when the artist was 28.

Getting a treatment at Qua, the new spa at Caesars Palace. Its 50,000 square feet of Roman baths—including a caldarium, tepidarium, and frigidarium—are designed for those who take their luxuriating seriously. Be sure to visit the Arctic Ice Room: push a button and it snows.

Sure, the Bellagio fountains have been hyped to death. But experiencing the dancing displays of water, choreographed to “Luck Be a Lady” and “Hey, Big Spender,” are actually worth a few jostling elbows.

    Las Vegas Nevada Travel Guide #cheap #flights #hotel #and #car

    #travel las vegas
    #

With its neon flashin’ and one-armed bandits crashin’, this bright light city is bound to set your soul on fire. Gambling. Glitter. Sexy entertainment. Gourmet restaurants. Swanky shops. Nightclubs galore. It’s all here in a 24/7 desert bacchanalia that on occasion makes Dionysus and his pals come off like amateurs. And when the tumblin’ dice reward you with stacks of chips that are oh so nice, you’ll sing Viva Las Vegas!

Vegas is constantly reinventing itself, discarding the old and donning the new. The King swivel-hipped his way out of the building long ago, of course. Liberace is gone. So are Siegfried Roy. And the storied casinos of Sin City’s ’60s and ’70s heyday have been dropping like flies lately. The latest casualty is the Riviera hotel, a favorite haunt of the Rat Pack and a filming location for movies ranging from the original “Ocean’s 11” to Martin Scorsese’s “Casino.” After a 60-year run the hotel closed its doors for good in 2015 to make way for a future expansion of the Las Vegas Convention Center.

Prior to “The Riv” biting the dust a different approach was taken with the legendary Sahara hotel, shuttered in 2011. Instead of a date with dynamite, the old girl’s bones were dolled-up and reanimated as the glitzy SLS Las Vegas resort. Unlike the 1990s when old casinos were being demolished left and right, remodeling and repurposing make financial sense in today’s tough economy.

Witness the gentrification of downtown’s Fremont East District. Less than 10 years ago the sketchy corner of Fremont and 6th streets was no man’s land, frequented only by the most dedicated of budget gamblers playing at the vintage El Cortez casino. Nowadays the intersection is crammed with old buildings-turned-nightspots. Steps away, hipster-geared shops and eateries inhabit the metal, cargo-shipping bins of the Downtown Container Park. UNLV college students and adventurous tourists have largely replaced the shady-looking street urchins who once plagued the area.

    http://tdr.aaa.com/tdr-images/original/46528 http://tdr.aaa.com/tdr-images/preview/46528 http://tdr.aaa.com/tdr-images/thumbnail/46528

Though increasingly hard to find, the gloriously gaudy legacy of Vegas’ golden years lives on. Stroll down the famed Strip and behold the finely aged Vegas cheese that is Caesars Palace. Hungry for more? Sit down to an old-school Italian dinner at a restaurant like Piero’s or Battista’s Hole in The Wall. On the flip side, the Cosmopolitan hotel, which opened in 2010 and eschews the vintage, tacky-fabulous aesthetic in favor of contemporary swank, is the place to see packs of celebutante wannabes strutting through the casino in bejeweled Manolo Blahniks.

    http://tdr.aaa.com/tdr-images/original/144230 http://tdr.aaa.com/tdr-images/preview/144230 http://tdr.aaa.com/tdr-images/thumbnail/144230

What else is new? For starters, there’s the High Roller observation wheel. The world’s tallest Ferris wheel, it soars 550 feet into the Vegas sky and anchors the rear of the Strip’s LINQ shopping/entertainment promenade. Next door, the ghastly old Imperial Palace property has been gussied up and turned into The LINQ resort. The Westgate Las Vegas resort (for decades known as the Hilton), in the midst of a top-to-bottom makeover, opened an impressive new Elvis Presley museum in 2015.

On the not-so-distant horizon? Continuing to take shape between the New York-New York and Monte Carlo resorts, the Park is an outdoor shopping/dining/entertainment plaza that’s slated to open in April 2016. Its centerpiece will be a new 20,000-seat indoor concert and sports venue.

    http://tdr.aaa.com/tdr-images/original/144346 http://tdr.aaa.com/tdr-images/preview/144346 http://tdr.aaa.com/tdr-images/thumbnail/144346

It’s fantastically over the top, this town. Imagine seeing the Statue of Liberty, a lava-spewing volcano, a sphinx, drive-through wedding chapels, Canadian acrobats, gaggles of wild-eyed gamblers and mountains of all-you-can-eat shrimp on one street. That’s Vegas, baby. But don’t stop at the Strip. Make a date with Lady Luck and meet her downtown on Fremont Street for a taste of the original 24-Hour Town.

    http://tdr.aaa.com/tdr-images/original/144120 http://tdr.aaa.com/tdr-images/preview/144120 http://tdr.aaa.com/tdr-images/thumbnail/144120

As for the finer things in life, there’s no shortage of AAA Four and Five Diamond hotels and restaurants. If you can manage to tear yourself away from the video poker machine, there are outstanding museums, thrill rides and natural wonders to experience as well. Pace yourself. And remember that whatever happens here, stays here.

    In Depth

Buy the ticket. Take the ride. These words of wisdom are courtesy of gonzo journalist Hunter S. Thompson, who came to Las Vegas in search of the American Dream. Welcome to a place where sensory stimulation trumps a meaningful travel experience and a royal flush beats all. Like the four dudes in the raunchy comedy The Hangover, you’re here to have fun, plain and simple. And don’t try to analyze it because there simply is no rational explanation for a faux pyramid visible from outer space.

Over-the-top eye candy is Vegas’ stock in trade. The world-famous Strip, a mere 4-mile stretch of Las Vegas Boulevard, is a glittery make-believe mini universe replete with a replica Brooklyn Bridge, dancing Italian fountains, a lava-spewing volcano and an Arthurian castle.

Colorful enough by day, the Strip becomes a phantasmagoria of blazing neon and LED signage once the sun goes down. A constant cross-section of humanity shuffles up and down the sidewalks, wandering (and often stumbling) in and out of casinos where dice tumble and wheels ‘n reels spin to a soundtrack of joyous victory shouts, gone-bust groans and a background cacophony of slot machine beeps, blips and pings.

Although children and non-gamblers will find plenty of fun, it is the over-21 visitor preferably with money to burn at the blackjack table Vegas seeks to attract. The City Without Clocks tends to throw the body’s natural rhythms for a loop; you may find yourself doubling down at 4 a.m. crashing hard at noon and eating pancakes for dinner. That’s OK. Vegas doesn’t judge. For a few days it allows you to escape the boss and the bills and be whomever you want to be.

Was it always this way? Hardly. The Strip was born with the opening of the El Rancho Vegas hotel in 1941. Things really took off when Benjamin Bugsy Siegel’s Pink Flamingo Hotel Casino opened its doors 5 years later. Strip resorts in contrast to downtown casinos like Binion’s Horseshoe and the Four Queens were more like stylish Hollywood clubs than rough-and-tumble gambling halls. Tourists arrived in droves to pull the slots and see the Chairman of the Board at the Sands.

Of course the swinging ’60s Rat Pack era is long gone as are the days when the Mafia pulled strings. It was developer extraordinaire Steve Wynn who paved the way for the corporations that control the city to this day. In 1989 The Mirage set a new standard for lavishness and swept away the ’80s doldrums while ushering in an age of contemporary megaresorts. Along with sleek towers, cartoonish architecture began springing up along the Strip. Exit Liberace. Enter Cirque du Soleil.

In 2015, another vestige of Vegas’ past bit the dust when the circa 1955 Riviera Hotel closed to make way for a major expansion of the Las Vegas Convention Center. City boosters hope it will help reenergize the struggling North Strip area, which recently saw the opening of the swank SLS Las Vegas (formerly the Sahara hotel), the City of Rock outdoor concert venue and the groundbreaking on Asian-themed Resorts World Las Vegas, a $4-billion hotel/casino slated to open in 2018.

In 2016 a new South Strip entertainment/dining promenade between the New York-New York and Monte Carlo resorts will be completed its centerpiece a 20,000-seat indoor arena for concerts, sports and other events. Only time will tell if these projects become long-term success stories.

    Weather in Las Vegas

Pulsing out of the sands like a neon-lit mirage, Las Vegas is the world s capital of gambling, with 24-hour excess and glitzy entertainment also reigning. Nowhere throws a party quite like Vegas, which has long been known as a centre of decadence that gives plenty of bang for your buck. But in recent years, it has been developing more of a luxury feel, with world-class restaurants and more elegant hotels cropping up.

As a fantasy-island escape from the real world , the self-styled city (out on its own near Nevada s southern tip) is almost beyond comparison. The electric frenzy of The Strip flows through the centre of an adult playground of epic proportions. Since gambling was introduced here in the 1930s, Las Vegas has gone through several phases to reach today s realm of sprawling hotel-casino complexes crowding the skyline.

Classier options have emerged in the city of late, with a slew of Michelin-starred gourmet restaurants opening in place of the former all-you-can-eat buffets. There are also several glamorous international hotel chains competing to attract wealthier jetsetters, making some of the older dens of iniquity look a little tacky and out-dated. The largest, most famous hotel-casinos are worlds unto themselves with gambling, accommodation, shopping, dining, circuses, and theme parks all rolled into one.

When cut loose in one of these self-contained emporiums, visiting rookies can lose all sense of time and space. It might be midnight or midday the party doesn t stop. Complimentary drinks are offered to gamblers, and the roulette wheel spins from dusk til dawn. There s invariably a group of stragglers or early risers propping up the bar, while cabaret performances and clubs run late into the night.

However, there s more to the city than hedonistic nightclubs and blackjack tables. Venture away from The Strip, and Vegas hosts top-notch art galleries, heritage museums and jaw-dropping nature. But the truth is that you ll always be drawn back to the city s modern-day pleasure palaces. After all, this is Sin City.

    Las Vegas Guide

“What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas.” It may be a marketing slogan, but once you get here, it feels like holy writ. Ever since gambling was legalized in Nevada in the 1930s—and especially following the postwar boom years, when shady characters like Bugsy Siegel and Meyer Lansky were running the show—visitors have been heading to this unlikely desert metropolis to have the kind of fun they can’t find back home. It’s the city of showgirls, neon, sky-high hotels, and mile-long buffets, where anything can happen and anything goes and it somehow always feels like 3 a.m.

    Must-Sees on the Strip

The Bellagio fountain show. Every half hour, the giant fountains outside the Bellagio hotel erupt in a free light and water show synchronized with pop songs, classical music, and Broadway show tunes.

  • Caesars Palace. This enormous hotel—an ode to Roman excess—houses an indoor shopping center with designer stores and Restaurant Guy Savoy, one of only 28 restaurants in the United States to receive the prestigious 5-Star Award from Forbes .
  • New York, New York Hotel Casino. The facade replicates the Manhattan skyline, albeit with a roller coaster swooping around a Statue of Liberty lookalike.

Cheap Flights to Las Vegas, NV – Find Deals on Flights

Cheap Flights to Las Vegas, NV

Best Time to Fly to Las Vegas

Las Vegas is a year-round destination and travelers can always find airfare deals on Las Vegas flights. However, there are particular times of the year when Las Vegas is at its peak and when travelers can best the Las Vegas flight and hotel deals.

Fall and winter are peak seasons in Las Vegas and when most people book Las Vegas flights. New Year’s celebrations are world-renowned so if you’re planning to party in Las Vegas for New Year’s it’s best to book flights and hotels in advance. Las Vegas is also a big business conference and expo site. If you’re planning a Las Vegas vacation you’ll want to check ahead and see if any conferences are taking place when you plan your Las Vegas trip. Hotels and airline tickets can be more expensive if there is an international conference taking place.

Summer in the desert is hot and the Las Vegas Strip is no exception. Thankfully, the hotels and casinos are air-conditioned so Las Vegas tourists can seek relief from the desert heat. If you plan to travel to Las Vegas in the summertime, bring light clothes and plenty of sunscreen. It’s hot and humid, but summer is also the best time to find tickets to Las Vegas and discounted Las Vegas hotel and resort rates.

Why you should take a flight to Las Vegas

Blackjack tables, showgirls, neon lights and Elvis imitators — you can find it all when you book a flight to Las Vegas. Back in the day, Las Vegas served as the playground to everyone from Marilyn Monroe to the Rat Pack: Frank Sinatra, Sammy Davis, Jr. Dean Martin, Peter Lawford and Joey Bishop. It’s where Elvis Presley first sang Viva Las Vegas in 1969, and where couples in love eloped and pressed their luck at the blackjack tables. Book an airline ticket to Las Vegas to see it all.

Vegas vacations start on the ride to Las Vegas. Upon booking Las Vegas flights, the odds are already in favor of having a good time. The plane lands at McCarran International Airport, where visitors are greeted by bright lights and the loud change-making noise of the slot machines – an inviting entrance into Sin City.

But when you step off your plane, you’ll see more than just gaming. The city boasts more churches per capita than any other city in America, which is no surprise since many Las Vegas flights are booked with the idea of matrimony in mind. Cheap plane tickets to Las Vegas can be found year-round, leaving tourists plenty of money to spend on hotels and entertainment in the city. There are more than 100 hotels in Las Vegas. On the Las Vegas Strip, the most popular hotels include the Mirage, the Venetian, the Bellagio, the Hard Rock, the Sahara, Paris Las Vegas, Caesars Palace, The MGM Grand and Mandalay Bay. Budget-conscience travelers can find flights to Las Vegas and cheap hotels off the Strip, including the Green Valley Ranch and Fairfield Desert Resort, leaving a little extra room in the checkbook for loving the Las Vegas scene.

While the days of Elvis and Frank have ended, the Las Vegas legacy lives on. Today, Las Vegas flights open the gates to Broadway shows and Grammy-award winning entertainers. Luxury retail stores open daily along the Las Vegas Strip, and adults craving a lifestyle of decadence indulge in five-star restaurants and midnight buffets on the casino floor. Las Vegas has, and always will be, the heartbeat of the desert.

What happens here stays here, so once you board your return Las Vegas flight, you’re off the hook.

Vegas is hopping 52 weeks a year, but certain Las Vegas events bring out the VIPs in full force. Jet-setters book Las Vegas flights to celebrate in style during holiday weekends, especially New Year’s Eve. Gamblers and sports fans find cheap Las Vegas airfare for the Super Bowl, Kentucky Derby and March Madness. Keep your eyes out during spring and summer weekends, when Las Vegas tickets are filled with bachelor and bachelorette parties starting their celebrations even before the plane touches down.

    Las Vegas climate

No matter when you fly to the desert, it’s going to be hot, and Las Vegas is no exception. Summers in Las Vegas are blistering, but if you can handle the heat you’ll likely find tickets to Las Vegas abundant during the summer months. The temperature reaches over 100 degrees Fahrenheit, but the air is dry so the humidity is low. Winter is a bit cooler with temperatures maxing out around 70 degrees Fahrenheit. Rarely does Las Vegas see intense rain, but showers do occur.

    10 Las Vegas Travel Tips

    Getty Images

Whatever happens in Vegas certainly doesn’t need to stay in Vegas. We’ve collected some of our Deal Experts’ favorite tips and memories for traveling to the ultimate adult playground that is the Las Vegas Strip and beyond. More itinerary suggestions — and exclusive deals — can be found within Travelzoo’s Las Vegas destination page.

Take advantage of the world-class spas: I think the great thing about spas in Vegas is they have the full facilities like steam rooms, whirlpools, saunas, and they give you snacks! It’s the perfect way to detox after a fun night out. Vegas is my favorite place to hit up the spa. Every single spa at every high-end hotel is just amazing. – Lily Fu, producer, travel

Find deals for spa days. dining and activities in Vegas.

Skip the taxi from the airport: For parties of two or less, it’s more economical to arrange roundtrip airport shuttle service. While The Strip looks close, traffic can be terrible and the taxi meter just keeps running — plus drivers have a tendency to take the longest route if you don’t instruct them. – William Brown, associate publisher, travel

Some of the best entertainment can be found in the off nights: Imagine our delight to discover a packed piano bar downtown full of singers and performers from The Strip on their off night taking turns at the keys! What followed was countless Lady Gaga covers, and flowing vodka sodas was the best break from The Strip. – Hilary Solan, editor, travel

Need a Vegas show deal? Check out these offers for Vegas entertainment .

Say Prost: Head off strip for a taste of Munich with a trip to the traditional beer hall Hofbräuhaus Las Vegas for polka music and a stein of Bavarian beer. – Blaire Constantinou, senior associate producer, travel

Travel midweek or in the summer: There no question that Vegas runs full throttle on the weekends, but don’t discount the idea of staying midweek – when hotels and shows offer their best deals. Let’s face it, there’s not really a dull night in Sin City, plus you’ll find a little elbow room at the tables and a bigger budget for blackjack. And no matter how hot it gets in the summer, remember that it’s always 65 degrees in the casino. – Andrew Young, editor

The vibrant art scene is worth a look: Las Vegas is finally getting a downtown that’s worth the effort to go to. The Arts District is south of Fremont. Head over on the first Friday of every month when dozens of shops and galleries stay open late and scores of vendors come in for a party into the night. On another night, check out Bar+Bistro, an Italian tapas restaurant with fantastic bartenders. – Ben Jennings, executive producer, travel

Not all memorable meals are dinners: The best breakfast in town and my favorite memory of Vegas: Hash House a Go Go. – Barrie Kosberg, senior producer, travel

Remember to cool off and cool down: When I need a break from the flashing lights and dinging slot machines in town, I’ll head out to Lake Mead for a day. If it’s really hot — anytime between July and October –nothing feels better than splashing around outside in this man-made lake that powers the Hoover Dam. Lots of companies rent boats, jet skis and kayaks by the hour or the day, and the natural beauty of the Mojave Desert makes for some truly scenic shoreline. Don’t forget the sunscreen! – Kevin Kitchen, senior associate producer, local deals

Nab big savings off The Strip: Look for hotels off The Strip. Sometimes rates will be lower, and most of the hotels and resorts have free shuttle service to the airport and The Strip. For a change of pace, tack on a day or two at Lake Las Vegas for a little desert resort R

Online Colleges in Nevada: The 5 Best Online Schools of 2017

    #

    Online Colleges in Nevada

    Most Popular Rankings

In the 2015 Education Data Book, one of the more painful truths reported was that, among the state s working professionals over the age of 25, only 22.5% held bachelor s degrees; the lowest such percentage amongst states in the west. Yet, optimism remains, thanks in part to the state s robust selection of distance learning programs and courses. Take the state s E-Learning Task Force, an initiative of the Nevada System of Higher Education (NSHE); this effort is using the state s online learning programs to achieve the common goal of graduating more students while supporting student success. More degrees means more qualified, working professional in Nevada, which in turn would be a boon to the economy. A number of the state s schools have taken up the charge, improving upon their already solid online options.

But before we dive into our list of the best online colleges in Nevada for 2017, let s start with the state of higher education and online education in particular in Nevada today.

    Featured Online Colleges

    Keiser University

    Providing student-centered, career-focused education

    Kaplan University

Helping you achieve your goals, from enrollment through graduation and beyond

A Brief Overview of Higher Education in Nevada

In 2013, the National Center for Education Statistics reported that Nevada had 27 degree-granting institutions, broken down as follows: 7 public schools, 3 nonprofits and 17 for-profits. The total number of bachelor s degrees awarded in the 12- 13 school year at these schools was: 6,975 at public schools, 302 at private nonprofits and 233 at private for-profits.

    in 2013, Nevada had 27 degree-granting institutions

Tuition-wise, the College Board found that, in the 15- 16 school year, the average in-state tuition and fees for four-year public schools was $6,670, while the out-of-state average was $20,490, increasing by only 1% over the last last five years.

As for the state s financial aid efforts, the National Association of State Student Grant Aid Programs (NASSGAP) reported that Nevada awarded $10.39 million in need-based grants and $23.86 million in non-need grants for the 13- 14 school year. Grants make up 7% of the state s total fiscal support for higher education. Over the same year, Nevada awarded $17.9 million in tuition waivers. The Center on Budget and Policies Priorities reported that from 13 to 14 there was a 4.1% increase ($301) in state spending per student in Nevada.

Tuition at Nevada schools is competitive, with a particularly low in-state rate, and the state does an excellent job of supporting its students, with weight grants and an excellent tuition waiver program. To boot, the state government has managed stable growth in the amount of spending it allots for postsecondary students.

The State of Online Higher Education in Nevada

The NCES estimates that at least 9.8% of students enrolled in Nevada s Title IV institutions are in fully online programs. Of those, 92.3% were reported to be undergraduates and 89.5% were found to be living in Nevada.

    Are in fully online programs

    Were reported to be Undergraduates

Were found to be living in the state

As we mentioned in our introduction, the NSHE, representing the state s public schools, is a major proponent of online learning. Data-wise. NSHE has seen total enrollment in distance courses increasing by over 438% across an eight year period starting in 2001; results seem to indicate such steady growth will continue over the next few years. It s estimated that nearly one-third of all enrollments at NSHE schools are in distance learning courses.

Nevada is also part of the SARA regional education compact known as the Western Interstate Commission for Higher Education (WICHE). The WICHE Internet Course Exchange (ICE) offers opportunities for state residents, through their local college or university, to access high quality distance programs offered at out-of-state WICHE institutions, often at greatly reduced rates.

    Best Online Colleges in Nevada

Below, you will find our rankings of the best online four-year programs in Nevada. Our profiles look at how schools approach online education and then list out their services for distance students and their popular, fully online degrees. After reviewing the best online schools in Nevada, explore our state resources, like a database of every college and university in Nevada or our index of popular in-state scholarships.

    Get Seal Methodology

To determine the best online colleges in each state, we examined the factors most important to prospective students: Academic quality and reputation, online program strength, and cost and student aid. At the most basic level, we use the following formula to determine the best online colleges: Academic Quality + Online Offerings + Cost and Student Aid = Final Score. Of course, there’s more to these calculations than meets the eye. Visit our methodology page to discover the data points that shape our formula and to learn more about the process we use to rank schools.

Whether your friend or loved one is in jail in error, guilt or innocence does not matter at this time. You want to get them out as fast as you can by choosing one of the following options:

1.) Pay the full bail amount

This is the most expensive option since you are required to pay the full bail amount directly to the jail or court which can cost thousands or even tens of thousands of dollars. This option is usually not financially feasible and most people hire eBAIL, a reputable and well known Las Vegas Bail Bonds Company, where they only have to pay a small percentage.

    2.) Hire an attorney

The slowest option is to hire a reputable attorney. The attorney could ask for the defendant to be released on his own recognizance or for at least a reduction of bail. This option is usually very time consuming since it could be days or weeks before your attorney sees the judge. Using an attorney is usually best for very large bail bonds from $50,000 and up.

3.) Pay only 15% by purchasing a Bail Bond

The best and cheapest option is to hire a licensed and BBB accredited Las Vegas Bail Bonds Company such as eBAIL. We pay the full amount and take on the risk of losing it in the event the defendant does not show up for court. Due to this risk we are required to charge the 15 percent fee as required by Nevada Law NRS 697.300 .

    What is a bail bond?

A bail bond is just like a check that we as the Bail Bonds Company put up as collateral to get your friend or loved one out of jail. The value of this bond will be for the full bail amount as required by the jail or court.

What does a bail bond cost?

The cost is 15% of what the jail charges as required by NV LAW NRS 697.300. **For example: if the jail sets the bail amount at $10,000 you pay $1,500 for the bail bond .

Can I make payments on the bail bond?

Absolutely, we are here to help you. We offer LITTLE MONEY DOWN and in some instances NO MONEY DOWN with EASY PAYMENTS.

How long does it take to be released from jail in Las Vegas?

Most jails including the City of Las Vegas Jail, Clark County Detention Center and the City of Henderson Jail the release times can range from 6-12 hours at a minimum. In some cases, the release time can take longer if the arrest happens on a weekend or holiday. Unforeseen circumstances inside the jail can also increase the wait time. Once the bond is posted at the jail the release process begins.

Why choose eBAIL for your Las Vegas Bail Bond needs?

    · Fast – Bail Bonds transactions: Online in 3 minutes, by phone, or we can even come to you.
    · Licensed – Fully licensed by the Nevada Department of Insurance.
    · Reputation – We are the only BBB accredited Bail Bonds Company in Las Vegas.
    · Trust – Top attorneys in Las Vegas trust in referring clients to us.
    · Professional – We provide confidentiality and always treat our clients with the utmost respect.
    · Financing – Guarantees easy payment plans on the State Law required 15% bail bonds fee.

Las Vegas Flight and Hotel Packages

When going to Las Vegas, there’s a widespread myth out there that you can save money by booking a flight and hotel package together. It’s been advertised on television, online travel agencies like Travelocity, and it’s basic common knowledge passed on from your parents that booking flight and hotels together is the way to travel. The truth is, this may be true for many vacations, but for a Las Vegas vacation, this is the wrong way to book it. If you really want to save money, you want to book your airfare and hotel separately. Keep in mind, there are still times when airfare + hotel packages are cheaper than booking separately, but this is usually only for last minute trips. Of the last 30 trips we’ve packaged for people, only 1 of them were flight and hotel booked as a single package, and that single was a last minute booking. Below is the step by step guide on how to plan the cheapest Las Vegas vacation package. 5 extra minutes of your time may save you hundreds of dollars.

Assuming you know all the dates and details of what you want, these are the steps.

Go here to Expedia.com or Expedia.ca if you’re in Canada, and find the flight + hotel package for the date’s and hotel you want and do it for 2 people. Write down the total amount. So for example, I wanted to go December 30th to January 2nd for a New Years trip from Vancouver, and I wanted Planet Hollywood, so the cheapest one I found was for $1078.05/person.

Step 2) Okay now start over, and just search for the flight only now. Find the lowest priced one and write it down. In the example, the lowest priced flight, which was also the one in the package, was $614.55/person.

Step 3) Now go to the Las Vegas Hotel Deals section and pick the hotel you want. Find the lowest price promotion and select the dates you’d be staying. Write down the final price. So, I picked Planet Hollywood, and found the Plan Ahead and Save 30% Off promotion to have the lowest starting price. The same room as the one in the flight + hotel package ended up being $648.37, so $324.19/person.

Step 4) Now calculate the total amount for each person and see which one you should book. It’s just simple math now. Flight + hotel package was $1078.05 a person. Booking separately, flight is $614.55 + $324.19 for hotel, with total being $938.74/person. TOTAL SAVINGS = $278.62!! Keep in mind the savings aren’t always this high, but that 5 minutes of extra searching resulted in a very respectable amount saved. Now you don’t have to wonder why online travel agencies make so much.

There’s an added benefit as well. Because you booked your hotel separately, you always have the option of canceling the reservation, with no charge. You may want to do that if you found a better deal, just wanted to change hotels, or if there are problems with your trip and you can’t anymore. It adds a little bit of flexibility which is nice.

If this guide is a little confusing, you know what, just contact us with all the necessary info, and we’ll be glad to help you find the lowest price package for you.

Child Custody Lawyer Protecting Las Vegas Fathers

Child custody issues present the most emotional and contested legal matters which a father will encounter. You may be going through a Nevada divorce or perhaps you were never married to your child s mother. No matter the scenario always remember that, as the father, your parenting rights are considered equal to those of a mother. Our fathers rights lawyer provides aggressive representation to Las Vegas dads who are going through a child custody dispute. Contact our attorney as she has significant experience and a proven track record representing those facing such situations.

Fathers rights lawyer aggressively handling child custody matters in Las Vegas

Nevada law recognizes the rights of a father as being equal to those of a mother during divorce or child custody proceedings. Clark County Family Court Judges are required to begin each case with a presumption that neither parent is a better custodial choice than the other and that custody should be shared. If a parent wishes to obtain primary custody in our state then it must be shown that joint custody would not be in the child s best interests. When deciding what is in a child’s best interests, the Court will consider factors such as:

    • The history of the relationship between the parent and child
    • The level of conflict between the parties
    • The ability of the parent to meet the needs of the child
    • The willingness of one parent to work with another
    • Whether there is a history of domestic violence in the relationship

Courts will often enter a temporary custody arrangement shortly after a case has been filed. This temporary arrangement will typically stay in place until a case is settled or until trial and will also include provisions regarding child support. It will be necessary to present your situation to the Judge in the best possible manner. Having an attorney who can properly guide you through the process can be critical to the outcome of your case.

Kari Molnar is a Las Vegas fathers rights lawyer who has been practicing family law since 2005. Once retained she will immediately work to gain an understanding of your situation and will strive to all have necessary court documents filed within 24-48 hours. After the temporary custody order has been entered she will use the discovery process to gain information regarding the mother s work history, medical history, and other evidence which relates to one s parenting abilities. She will also collect the necessary documents to show that you are a capable father who deserves to be in his child s life. Kari will be easily accessible throughout the process and will ensure that your questions are answered. You have enough to worry about during a time like this and the quality of your counsel should not be one of them. Contact our office today.

Assisting southern Nevada fathers who wish to change their child custody order

In addition to gaining an initial custody order, there are times during which a southern Nevada father may need to modify their existing arrangement. A dad may need to gain custody due to instability on the mother s part. It may also be that the father s situation has changed and he is now able to be a greater part of the child s life. Nevada law recognizes such situations and allows for child custody to be modified when circumstances have changed in such a way that a new custodial arrangement is now in the child s best interests. If you are in a situation where circumstances have changed then contact our lawyer immediately. Our office serves all of southern Nevada as well as the greater Las Vegas area.

George Knapp, Las Vegas Journalist, Becomes Victim Of Foreclosure Fraud He Reported On [WATCH]

Improper foreclosure practices are so widespread in Las Vegas that one reporter trying to expose them instead found he too was a victim of foreclosure fraud.

George Knapp, chief investigative reporter for Las Vegas CBS affiliate KLAS, was investigating how “tens of thousands” of people who thought they were homeowners turned out not to actually own their homes due to fraudulent paperwork. when he discovered that he was in that exact situation. (h/t MediaBistro ).

Las Vegas foreclosure attorney Tisha Black told Knapp that nine out of 10 foreclosure filings aren’t done properly, jeopardizing the ownership status of the house in the future.

“I gave her my address, because I bought a home out of foreclosure three years ago this month,” Knapp said on KLAS during the conclusion of his report. “The Attorney General’s office confirmed to me that I don’t own my home because of bogus signatures and improper filings.”

More than a tenth of all homes in Las Vegas received a default notice last year, according to a RealtyTrac report cited by CNNMoney. The national foreclosure average was five times lower than that of Sin City’s. In September, Las Vegas-area home prices fell to their lowest level since the start of the recession. according to a Tuesday report by Standard & Poor’s.

Knapp told Poynter Institute journalist Al Tompkins that the episode put him in a “very weird spot to be in” as a reporter. After considering not including Knapp’s part of the story in the report, he says his managers decided Knapp’s coincidence illustrated “one of the central issues in our project. namely, that very bad things have happened to people who essentially played by the rules.”

Indeed, Knapp isn’t alone when it comes to faulty title transfers causing lost homes. In addition, to the “tens of thousands” cited by KLAS in Las Vegas, one couple and their 18-month-old daughter faced foreclosure in Houston, Texas even though they had stayed current on payments since 2008, because their title wasn’t transferred properly.

State attorneys general are pursuing a national settlement with mortgage companies over claims of improperly foreclosing on U.S. homeowners. California last month removed itself from talks.

Tracy Lawrence, set to be sentenced for her part in a Las Vegas-based foreclosure fraud, was found dead this week. according to the Los Angeles Times.

Switch’s Las Vegas Data Center Stronghold Reaches North of 2 Million

Switch’s Las Vegas Data Center Stronghold Reaches North of 2 Million Square Feet

Yevgeniy Sverdlik on June 15, 2017

Switch has officially launched the latest massive facility on its homebase Las Vegas data center campus, bringing its total capacity in Sin City to more than 2 million square feet and about 315MW.

Switch, the largest data center provider in Vegas, recently started expanding to other markets. Known for its proprietary data center design, futuristic interiors, and ex-military security guards armed with machine guns, the company builds hyper-scale colocation facilities and lists among its top customers Amazon Web Services, eBay, Hulu, and NASA.

Its latest Las Vegas 10 data center adds about 350,000 square feet of data center space and can provide up to 40MW of power. It is designed to the same specifications as the previously existing Las Vegas 8 and Las Vegas 9 facilities.

Recommended: Switch Gets Tier IV for Second Las Vegas Data Center

The design, according to Switch, is a brain child of its founder and CEO, Rob Roy, who designed everything from mechanical and electrical systems to the roof and conference-room interiors. The company leans heavily on its data center design for setting itself apart from competitors, and earlier this month announced its own design standard, called Tier 5 Platinum, which includes a long list of characteristics that aren’t covered by the industry’s most widely used and recognized data center design rating system created by the Uptime Institute.

Switch had portions of Las Vegas 8 and 9 data centers certified by Uptime. Both received Tier IV Gold certification, the highest rating in the system designed to evaluate data center infrastructure reliability. Switch said it would not pursue Uptime certification for any of its future facilities because the system doesn’t take into account elements such as network carrier redundancy and availability of renewable energy, among many others. It also complained that Uptime doesn’t do enough to police misuse of its terminology by data center providers.

Switch’s current design is called Switch MOD 250 (Modularly Optimized Design). Modularity enables data center providers to expand capacity in a building quickly by installing standardized, pre-fabricated infrastructure components.

The company launched its first non-Las Vegas data center in February of this year. The first building on its Citadel Campus outside of Reno, Nevada, has eBay as the anchor tenant and measures 1.3 million square feet; it can support up to 130MW of power. The following month Switch announced the launch of a data center in Michigan. inside a re-purposed pyramid-shaped former office building, and in May said it had secured land to build data centers in Atlanta .

The company is also building data centers in Italy and Thailand. Both international projects are partnerships with local investors.

The dome is made of pure white marble, but the tomb is set against the plain across the river and it is this background that formulates the magic of colours that, through their reflection, change the view of the Taj at different time of the day.

The hue change at different hours of the day and during different seasons.

Taj Mahal is best viewed in a moonlight night. Like a jewel, the Taj sparkles in moonlight when the semi-precious stones studded into the white marble on the main mausoleum receives the glow of the moon.

Cheap Travel Taj is pinkish in the morning, milky white in the evening and golden when the moon shines. Just a awesome spectacle to view.

Here you can explore the fascinating world of astronomy through the shows.

The Fort and Palace of Tipu Sultan

A fascinating example of 18th century Indian military architecture. This fort constituted the stronghold of Hyder Ali and later his son Tipu Sultan, witnessing several fierce and bloody battles during their times. The fort was last used for military purposes as recently as 1888.

Trees, flowers, bushes and plants dominates this garden of Bangalore. There is a lot more to be seen at the gardens, Cheap Travel, a sit-out on a hill-top and a fascinating nursery. Lal Bagh is artistically landscaped with an eye for ordering nature’s beauty without confining or stultifying it. It has expansive lush lawns, a profusion of flowerbeds, lotus pools and tinkling fountains.

    Estate Planning Bundles Online #estate #planning #attorney #las #vegas

    #

What would you like to talk about?

    Welcome back

Been meaning to create a plan but not sure where to begin?

No matter where you are in the process, an attorney from our vetted network is available to help:

Your Estate Plan comes with a Last Will and Testament OR a Living Trust.

    Ask away. We have answers.

    Common Questions

How do I know if I need a will or a trust?

This is one of the most common questions that comes up when planning your estate. They accomplish many of the same things, but a Last Will often has to go through the probate process, while a fully funded living trust avoids probate. But a last will is easy to create, while transferring your assets into a trust can be time consuming and require additional paperwork. However, we know that this simplified explanation is often not enough to help make this difficult decision. It s for that reason that our Estate Plan Bundle comes with a full year of our Personal Legal Plan. You can purchase the bundle, and immediately schedule a consultation with an attorney in your state to help you make this decision. Many people have to decide based on their unique personal factors (state laws, family situation, size of estate etc. ), and the help of an attorney is invaluable to fully explore those details.

Do I need to speak with an attorney before starting my documents?

No, but we highly recommend it. Based on your needs, where you live and the value of your assets, a Living Trust may be more appropriate than a Last Will. An attorney who knows the laws of your state is in the best position to provide that guidance. We encourage you to make that determination before starting the Last Will questionnaire.

What if I need to make changes to my documents?

When life changes come up, many people do choose to update their Estate Planning documents, and we make that easy. One key benefit of the Estate Plan Bundle is that it comes with one full year of our Personal Legal Plan. And along with getting advice from attorneys, your membership allows you to revise your documents as often as you need to at no additional cost.

Are LegalZoom Last Wills and Living Trusts state-specific?

Yes. Our team of experienced attorneys have designed these documents to meet the specific laws and requirements of each U.S. state.

What happens after I order my bundle?

Once you order your bundle, you decide how to start building your Estate Plan. If you have the information you need, you can jump right in and begin filling out our simple online questionnaires. If you have legal questions, you can schedule a consultation with an independent attorney in your state for help. If you have questions about our questionnaire or other technical questions, you can contact our customer care team. Once all of your questions are answered and you ve submitted your questionnaires to us, we ll review your work and create your documents, sending them to you in the mail. When they arrive, make sure you re happy with them, and then follow our simple instructions for signing. Once signed, they re done! All that s left is to keep them someplace safe, and know that you can always come back to us if you need to make changes in the future.

Cheap Flights to Las Vegas #train #travel #italy

#how to get cheap flight tickets
    #

    Cheap Flights To Las Vegas

Finding Cheap Flights to Las Vegas is a great way to save some money when planning your vacation. Of course you don’t want to pay full price for a flight ticket to Las Vegas, who does? If you can save some money here then you will have more money to play with. Smart thinking! So how can you get cheap flights to Las Vegas? There are several things you can do.

First of all, and this might already be general knowledge, avoid weekend travel and plan to arrive in Las Vegas sometime during the week. Why? Every Jim, John and Harry wants to get away for the weekend on Friday or Saturday. The airlines don’t need to make any accommodations to fill up the planes and can afford to disregard passengers looking for a discount. On Sundays, most people are on their way home because it’s back to work on Monday. So, ticket prices begin to go up on Thursday, skyrocket on Friday and Saturday, and then begin to show a slight decrease on Sunday. So the best days to purchase airline tickets to Las Vegas are Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday.

If you are a morning person, you might want to know that the least expensive flights tend to be early morning Tuesday or Wednesday but overall, airlines tend to charge less for the first flight out each day.

Plan your stay in Vegas to include the weekend. Try, at least, to stay through Saturday night, which is the busiest time for airlines and the most expensive day to travel. Also flights that depart very early or late in the day are often more affordable than mid-day flights.

You should know that discount airlines such as Jet Blue Airlines, Southwest Airlines or AirTran Airways often offer lower prices than their big-name competitors, and are not always listed on sites like Expedia, Orbitz, Hotwire, etc. It may be worth your while to check their Web sites individually.

Book your flight to Las Vegas as far ahead of time as possible. The earlier you can book your flight the bigger the discount you can get. On the flip side, if you are a last minute sort of person, you may be able to get a good deal very close to your travel date. This is because, at almost zero hour, the airline is trying to fill up empty seats. This method of purchase is risky, however, and not all companies do this. Tip: If you are booking last minute, Tuesday night is the best time to book your flight.

Look out for special flight deals to Las Vegas. Airlines usually offer knockdown prices during the slow periods. If you are not particular about when you want to get to Sin City then this will be a good option for you. Remember, Las Vegas is buzzing with action all year round. To stay informed of these deals, subscribe to airline newsletters, follow your favorite airlines on Facebook and Twitter. Many airlines tweet special flight deals to Las Vegas regularly.

You can get cheap flights to Las Vegas by using your special status to secure cheaper rates. Are you in the military or do you work in another public service capacity? Are you a student? Are you over 65? If you fit into any of these categories, all you would need to do to qualify for discount fares is show your ID.

Look into combining packages. Some companies offer reservations for hotels and car rentals as well as flights. If you book one or more of their services, they will offer you a discount. If you’re the type to skip over these packages without a glance, maybe you should give them a closer look.

The time of day you buy your ticket can determine the price you pay. Airfares change three times a day as airlines periodically lower prices to fill up flights. According to travel experts, early morning is the best time to buy your ticket. Check the airline websites every 5 hours for price changes. On the weekends, the best time to check is early Saturday morning and then again at 5pm, when the industry is most aggressively trying to fill seats. Take the guesswork out of it and sign up for email or text alerts and get notified when the price changes for your travel destination.

You may qualify for couple discounts if you are traveling with your significant other, or group rates if you are traveling with a few of your closest friends. Your travel agent can give you more information or you can search for such deals online.

If you have ever considered buying time-shares in Las Vegas then you may want to combine business with pleasure. In a bid to attract buyers, some real estate companies will fly you out and put you up free so you can get a taste of the Vegas lifestyle. The only requirements are that you fit into a specified income group, take a serious look at what they have to offer and listen to the sales pitch. A word of warning though, make sure you are serious about making a purchase and do not try to take these companies for a ride. Read the fine print. Some companies will charge you for the flight and accommodation if you don’t buy what they are selling.

Check with clubs that you belong to, like your auto club, wholesale membership club and insurance company, for cheap or discount flights to Las Vegas. These organizations usually offer incentives to promote customer goodwill. You may be surprised at what you find!

Finally be aware that the money you have saved by booking the cheapest flight to Las Vegas could easily be wiped out by airline fees once you get to the airport. Extra fees associated with air travel can really add up. Use this guide to see what extra fees your airline will charge .

    Why book on Orbitz?

Miss Richfield 1981 says it best in this video not all travel sites are created equal. When you book on Orbitz, your travel dollars work harder. Here s why:

    Las Vegas highlights

    The Sin City gayborhood

Vegas has no bona fide gay hood, although the Fruit Loop between Paradise and Swenson has a number of LGBT establishments. Although both travelers and locals lament at the lack of a huge LGBT scene in Vegas, the city is home to Krave, one of the largest gay dance clubs in the US.

Gay Las Vegas travel isn t complete without a stop at the parade. The city s pride event is in September, and the Big Horn gay rodeo in May, as well as gay pool parties held at mainstream resorts year-round.

    Classic Vegas

There are so many shows and attractions and rides and restaurants in Vegas — most of them centered on the Strip — it would take a lifetime to see them all. The rejuvenated downtown Vegas is now alive with a pedestrian mall and the Fremont Street Experience.

    Around the desert oasis

Drag yourself away from the casinos! The surrounding area offers some excellent outdoor opportunities, including hiking in Red Rock Canyon or the Valley of Fire State Park, kayaking at Lake Mead, gasping at the monumental Boulder Dam, or even skiing at nearby Mount Charleston.

Insider tips for Las Vegas gay travel

Avoid traffic — don t drive

If you re staying on the Strip, which a majority of travelers do, you don t really need a car — and traffic here can be bumper to bumper even at midnight! The Strip has an easy-to-use monorail system, and just walking along the larger-than-life boulevard is an experience in itself.

    Tie the knot

Vegas makes for the classic quickie wedding destination. A number of smaller, campy chapels on the northern part of the Strip will perform same-sex ceremonies, as well as some of the larger Strip hotels.

Although everyone laments the summer heat (which is never that awful since most of tourist Vegas is experienced indoors), wintertime can be downright chilly in Sin City. Hotels close their outdoor pools, and it s been known to snow on the Strip! Be sure to pack a jacket if you re not going in summertime.

How to Book a Cheap Suite in Las Vegas, Nevada

    Promoted by

Try staying on the edge of the Las Vegas Strip. The big luxury hotels in downtown Las Vegas are usually the most expensive. Most hotels will run shuttles downtown, so you don’t need to worry about missing out on any of the fun. The Las Vegas Leisure Guide has an extensive listing of hotels all over Las Vegas, along with room prices.

Book your vacation as a package. Booking a flight and room separately is often more expensive than booking them together. Package deals to Las Vegas usually include a flight, a room and some meals.

Book a regular room and then upgrade to a suite later. This option is a bit of a gamble, but if a hotel has extra rooms available, you may end up getting a good deal if you upgrade after your arrival.

Visit Las Vegas during the off-season. Vegas is always popular, but in the weeks after major holidays, prices tend to be down. Generally the hottest period is July and August, and the colder winter months of January and February are slightly less popular. Avoid major holidays if you want to get a good price on a suite.

Call the hotel directly. Travel websites don’t always have the best deals. Ask the hotel clerk when cheap suites might be available. You just might be able to get a deal that’s not even listed on the hotel website.

Check often. Websites change regularly, and room prices can vary wildly. Room sales often mean heavy discounts, and, because hotels don’t want customers to hold out, good rates can spring up without warning.
