TravelSuperMarket appoints Bentley as marketing director

Darren Bentley, has joined TravelSuperMarket as the company’s first marketing director.
He moves over from parent company, MoneySuperMarket, where he’s been head of performance media since 2012.
Prior to that he led paid search at PHD Media.
“It’s a really exciting time to join the TravelSupermarket team. We have highly ambitious growth targets over the next three years and both a fantastic team and product roadmap to help deliver them. I’m looking forward to being able to leverage my digital expertise across the brand more directly, and building out a best in class marketing function with the support of MoneySuperMarket Group and our agency partners,” he said.
His role will be to lead marketing strategy across the firm’s above the line and digital channels. At MoneySuperMarket. he helped develop its in-house performance marketing capability, which manages all programmatic and biddable media planning and buying for the Ewloe-based group.
“I am delighted Darren has joined the team, he brings a wealth of marketing knowledge and leadership skills to the brand,” added Vic Darvey, managing director at TravelSupermarket.
“I am confident Darren will do an exceptional job in driving the performance across all marketing disciplines within the business, which will in turn help us meet our strategic goals in 2014 and beyond.”
